I once again crave data. I’m very biased against mpreg fic or headcanons bc of my own hangups around pregnancy as a trans man. That shit is an eldritch horror to me and i find zero fun in playing in that space. I should probably block the tag. BUT i want to understand the demographics and if i’m an outlier

To add onto this thought: points to oviposition tag. When it's not actually a baby and it's removed from a lot of the connotations around motherhood I find it a lot easier to engage with.
Tangent, I've also found A/B/O affirming when it's like: "yes, this person can reproduce but isn't a woman." Though I've been lost in the sauce in A/B/O long enough that I have, like, sub genre opinions lol. I'm not super into the ones where it's "let's recreate gender binary 2.0 and be very heteronormative about it." Obviously it's plenty of people's cup of tea because there's a lot of it, but not mine.

Children, especially to the characters in MASH, are the representation of life and innocence. Hawkeye, as a character, is defined by his love for life. He is a doctor with a vested interest in humanity, thrust into a war against his will, who does everything he can to preserve that life. Pregnancy is not only a joke to Hawkeye, or something said in passing as a quip or subversive statement, but a concept he treats with respect and dignity, and in the midst of such great injustice and cruelty to human life, carrying life into the world would help him fight just that little more against the war. In the words of BJ Hunnicutt, “All we see around here is death and destruction. Now, in the middle of an inferno that even Dante wouldn't buy tickets to, there's a little glimmer of life, thanks to you. That's not wonderful; that's a miracle.”"

"Enkidu and Gilgamesh, the original yaoi. Hear me out.
Gilgamesh is a great and terrible warrior king. As punishment for raping brides on their wedding night, the gods create Enkidu, to be his equal in battle and punish him for his cruelty. How poetic then, for Enkidu to leave him with child as part of his punishment. Gilgamesh has to endure the pain of childbirth over and over until it is equal to the suffering he inflicted upon the brides.
Then Gilgamesh becomes friends with Enkidu and they travel together. Even gravid, he is still fierce. Together they vanquish Humbaba, the guardian of the Cedar forest.
His growing belly reflects his growing devotion to Enkidu. He daydreams about how the two of them will teach their children to be fierce warriors with no equal.
So when the goddess Ishtar propositions him, of course he turns her down. In her anger, she asks her father to send the Bull of Heaven after him.
Gilgamesh and Enkidu manage to vanquish the bull without supernatural assistance. However in doing so, they incur the wrath of all the gods. The gods strike down Enkidu with illness. Gilgamesh is by his side as he does.
The extra twist of the knife is that Gilgamesh will never get to raise his children with Enkidu. He goes into labour alone.
And he endures suffering equal to that he'd caused."
Ok, I feel it just needs to be known: The Epic of Gilgamesh is the oldest known epic in the world, sometimes cited as the oldest known story, and by the second tablet Gilgamesh kisses Enkidu. That is all.

I can not express how badly I need Jonathan pregnant. The possesive obsession dracula has towards him would only be made worse (better) with a baby involved. Jonathan obviously already goes through so much stress and fear during his time in castle dracula, imagin if he also had to go through pregnancy at the same time. Even worse the father is the man keeping him captive
