Character Overview 

Second born to the clan armorer and his incredibly skilled wife, Ruusaar is Parjari's perpetually annoying younger brother. 

He was a rambunctious kid, a reckless teenager, and even more reckless young adult. Now in his 60s (Mandalorian years (40s by galactic standard measure)), he still refuses to settle down. 

He has never really had a romantic partner. He doesn't appear to feel the need for one with good friends around and he is perfectly happy being a crazy uncle to his sister's kids and grand kids. He is a skilled fighter, often being the one to train the new Mandalorians in hand to hand combat. He is also the clan tattooist and piercer and the self appointed arbiter of 'adulthood ceremonies.' 

This is Sandy! They have a genetic disorder that means they cannot process calcite as well as most Eridians, making their carapace fragile and brittle. They often leak from their joints and shed sand. They are on the safety team for Grace's dome because Sandy is much more aware of what is dangerous for more fragile creatures than most Eridians based on life experience. They have a caretaker, a hatch mate, who they have a very tense relationship with because the caretaker wanted to do other things with their life but with the rest of Sandy's family busy and away, they are the only one left to take care of Sandy at the moment. Things are getting better as Sandy made friends with Basalt and Frog (Frog is @eldest-daughter-syndrome's oc) and Basalt and Frog are happy to help take care of Sandy. Sandy does not have an arm rattle (it wears away almost immediately after a fresh shed) or any carvings. Sandy has to sleep a LOT more than most Eridians and has to be watched because they could spontaneously shed whole carapace faces and almost bleed out and die without help.

Basalt! This is Frog's mate, and they are considered very attractive. They are a news announcer that was put on the task of spreading news having to do with astrophage. They were kept up to date on that by Frog, an astrobiologist, and they fell in love. They are both extremely attractive and a well known power couple. They very recently hatched a bit after Grace and Rocky came to Erid.
