This one is heavy.

It’s about fear. About helplessness. About the terrible second between knowing you should move and being too frightened to do it. About Tom Riddle being beautiful in the worst possible way. About Ginny. About Cassie. About bravery that looks a lot like stupidity until it’s the only thing left.

Well, I have a few… mostly headcanons I use in my fics 😅

Like Fabian Prewett being Marlene’s ex, or the fact that Sirius and Marlene both play Quidditch (and honestly, at this point, Quidditch is basically foreplay for them. 🧹🔥)

One I really love is that they’re both Scorpios: Sirius’s birthday is November 3rd, and Marlene’s is November 4th. I’m obsessed with the back-to-back birthday chaos. 🦂✨

Another one I use a lot is that Marlene is James’s neighbour, so once Sirius moves in with the Potters, she’s just… always around. Which is very inconvenient for everyone pretending not to have feelings. 😌

They both love leather jackets, and Marlene is constantly stealing Sirius’s. Obviously. 🖤

So… Cassie McKinnon and the Hidden Truths is officially written.

All 31 chapters.

The Chamber of Secrets timeline is DONE.

We survived. Barely. 😭📚🐍

And because I am very normal about this child, I’ve already started working on the Prisoner of Azkaban timeline 👀
