i should have mentioned this while i was experiencing the drama in REAL TIME but i should've memed more on the person with that antiship-confessions blog that claimed "not to be breaking boundaries" with proshippers with 'antis dni' that proshippers didnt even start (sending an ask, reblogging, replying to their posts) and starting their own drama. i dont care if youre fasttracking to an ivy league and taking ap-equivalents in middle school and graduating in college at 16, you may have no dni but hm. lets think. a blog thats clearly for antishippers and by antishippers interacting with 'proship-dipper'. the user isnt even secretly hiding that they're a proshipper and you're calling them a predator straight from the get-go. hm. i wonder how that interaction is going to go.

im going to be real, mentions of teen pedophiles are basically a whataboutism to me even when they exist because usually antis are talking about people who selfship with fictional characters of the same age.

for a group that says 'they'll look at you weirdly and you'll be othered for liking such and such things!' they also have a tendency to like media that people would 'look at you weirdly and be othered for liking such and such things' if you explained it to another person

you know that dnis are deeply unserious and not really boundaries when they have something like 'adults dni! except when they're content creators'

antis are treating like pointing out someone violating a 'minors dni' is a net bad... aren't mdni blogs usually have porn in it. arent they protecting people for not wanting/freaking out that minors are interacting with their content. why do you want minors to see porn.
