Ocarina of Time is such a special game man. It has been years yet it still continues to break my heart. I already mentioned it in the tags of another post but to reiterate: the relationship of link and zelda in this game is so tragic to me. At all points except that brief glimpse in the castle courtyard the two of them are mismatched in time and circumstances. Zelda has spend seven years suffering for the choice she was forced to make to protect her people when she was younger while link was locked away and essentially skipped forward to the apocalypse. She became older while he remained the same and when she sent him back in time out of guilt and duty, the roles are reversed. Everything is okay now, except nothing will be the same. There is so much guilt and regret between them, yet they cannot find solace in each other’s company either. Doomed to be strangers, one left in ruins and the other forgotten. They’re disconnected.

spooks end of year wrapup!
my first LU fanart ever! this was the start of everything!
I remember i binged LU fics for a month straight to the point that my eyes were blurring around the edges and i was prepared to accept that consequence for the rest of my life. thankfully, that went away, but the LU obsession only worsened.
I don't remember exactly how i learned about the war trio so i'm going to attribute it to anthem's amazing fic. Everybody needs to check this fic out and everything else she's written especially Crumble (i'm completely normal about it) which i will link at the bottom. I've thought about anthem's writing at least every couple of weeks since the beginning of this year. anthem, thank you so much for sharing your fics with us!
I have more to say about time/mask and wars but I'll save that for the war trio fanart reblog later on.
i joined the fandom pretty late, and was treated to so much fanart and fanfic that people have already written. i was literally fed so well and am still being fed well by this amazing fandom. I loved the fics I've read so much that i needed to express it.
