Aang saying that it’s time to let go and forgive himself and then peacefully free falling thousands of feet through the air like he’s accepting the end, only for Katara to catch him in a tender loving embrace as a transition from what was his past and what is his future, because from the very moment they met there was meaning in their suffering because they met. And their love was, is and will forever be the revolution of the series. Because Katara offered Aang belonging in a world he wasn’t from when he had nothing, and with her he will never truly be alone
