AVATAR AANG in AVATAR AANG: THE LAST AIRBENDER (2026) Trailer.
“Kataang was never hinted at” you’re right, it was thrown in everyone’s face within the first 5 minutes and continued to stay there the entire 61 episode run

theyre grown up now
Please give us your thoughts on obsession!! A fantastic film that I will never watch again lmao
It was an incredible movie imo, and one of the best horror films I’ve seen in years. I’m a huge horror fan, and most movies I watch are pretty lackluster, but this one really managed to get under my skin 😭 that whole scene where Nikki was crying in the dark and said “I don’t like my dreams” was actually terrifying omg. I hope the actress gets some kind of award, she was phenomenal. The themes of objectification and sexual abuse are pretty on the nose but I thought it was done very well. Unless you’re like some disgusting incel freak that thinks Bear is a victim, but those types don’t have functioning brains anyway so. I wasn’t fucking with bro from the jump and after he made that phone call asking to alter the wish instead of cancel it, I was praying on his downfall LMAO. He was too much of a little bitch to even kill himself despite deserving that ten fold
Bear was the villain idgaf what anyone says, and he never even liked Nikki to begin with, he liked the idea he invented of her in his head. But the ending is fucked up because of what it leaves unresolved, that being that this innocent woman now has to deal with the consequences of someone’s actions they forced on her. It’s really messed up and I won’t be watching this movie again for a good while tbh because it disturbed me badly. I think it was a great horror film especially in this current climate
Plot aside, I really liked a lot of the camera work and casting the actress in shadows like they did throughout was very creepy. Also, EUGH the jerky body movements, nope! I hate that shit, makes my skin crawl lol. 10/10 she scared the shit out of me
Bruh Aang lost his entire people, his culture, and even the remnants he owned of that culture. Appa got stolen, the original saddle Appa had got lost, his clothing the monks made were destroyed, the glider they made him was burned, and even his TATTOOS were forever broken by the Fire Nation omfg what if I jumped bro
I really don’t think a lot of people understand the horror and grief Aang would have experienced as a character tbh. Imagine going to sleep and when you wake up again, the whole world you knew is completely different and also everyone you ever knew or loved was murdered by a pure evil regime. Like??? He’s literally the only survivor. No one would know his culture, his religion, the cuisine, the dances, the myths, ANYTHING relating to his people. How lonely and isolating would that be? Think of all of the intricate aspects of your culture and imagine not a single soul in the entire world knowing it but you. Also, not only does he have to shoulder an unfathomable amount of grief and survivors guilt as a literal child, but everything he forgets about his culture and people as time goes on is then lost forever… that’s so incredibly fucked up dude. But he was still kind, and he was still merciful, and he did it all while ensuring everyone else was happy and safe. They genuinely took everything from him and he lost EVERYTHING a person could possibly lose and more and he was just a little baby!!!!! His character breaks my fucking heart 😭💔

Iroh was so right for yelling at Zuko when he tried to capture Appa lmfao because Aang almost slaughtered those sandbenders for muzzling Appa, imagine if Zuko had actually captured Appa and then tried to keep him somewhere omfg Aang would’ve crashed tf OUT. Iroh said nahhh nephew we are not about to catch anyyyy of that smoke now let that bison tf GOOO 😭✌️
Tbh I really feel like TLOK is overhated and critiqued. I actually like Korra quite a lot, especially book 1 and book 3-4. Book 2 is the weakest season by far (which I blame Nickelodeon for), but I even like parts of book 2 because we get more world building and lore and we get to see how the avatar was created which was really fun imo. I also really like Korra as a character, I love the arc they wrote for her, especially how they devoted so much time to her overcoming trauma. It was very well handled. I don’t think it’s fair to compare TLOK to ATLA. ATLA was lightning in a bottle and it will never happen again. But the issues TLOK has aside, I still think it’s a worthy sequel to Avatar and it was clearly still made with love for the fans who had grown up with ATLA. It was darker, it was in some ways more mature and older in themes to match the audience that had grown with this world, and I like that TLOK was mainly about different ideologies. It was a good show, hell it was even a great show, and it was better than anything else Nickelodeon had playing 🤷🏻
we are so fucking back kataang nation

"A hundred years. I can't believe it."
"I'm sorry, Aang. Maybe, somehow, there's a bright side to all this."
"I did get to meet you."
