Zutara shippers want Canon and they will never get it. 😆😆😁😁
The cheating headcanons will never not funny because zutara shippers accidentally admitting what they want most:
canon.
Like, “Maybe Katara cheated on Aang with Zuko once 🥺”
Ohhh, so now suddenly canon matters? 😭
You don’t actually want an AU. You want Zutara to have happened inside the real timeline so badly that we’ve reached the “secret affair offscreen” phase of negotiations.
It gives me so much happiness that they want to have something apart of canon and That keeps me warm at night.
They make up their delusional cheating/affair headcanons as if that wouldn’t make Katara and Zuko terrible characters lmao. It would be evil of them to do that to Aang.
To be fair, they’ve been claiming this stuff since TLOK premiered in 2012 lol. They even claim that Katara would hook up with Zuko in her 80’s after Aang dies like can we be fr… so desperate for canon zutara they’ll even take them fucking as 80 year olds, it’s getting pathetic
They’re so jealous yet pretend we’re the jealous ones. They claim Aang’s canon kids are Ackshually☝️🤓 Zuko’s, hell I even see them pretend Appa and Momo are Zuko’s and have seen fics and fanart of that in the past. They even pretend Zuko has Aang’s personality. They want the kataang cloud family canon so effing bad they look like desperate losers. They scream and cry and threaten the creators and make shit up because their fanon isn’t canon and then turn around and pretend they don’t care. But then they steal all of the kataang nachos 🤣
'Aang/Zuko is better'*LOUD INCORRECT BUZZER*THIS is the correct opinion
I guess I shouldn't be surprised by this because TvTropes is essentially Fandom Wikipedia, but it annoys me that some of the descriptions on that site low-key try to downplay Katara's attraction to Aang and take subtle potshots at the Kataang ship.
In Katara's character profile, it says stuff like Katara was nothing but Aang's arm candy in the comics, tries to imply that Katara and Aang weren't considered to be endgame until later in the show citing Aang not being jealous of Jet but later being jealous of Zuko as evidence, also implies that it's weird that Katara initiated the balcony kiss with Aang since she said she was confused in their last conversation, and acts like Katara was just oblivious to Aang's feelings even after the Fortuneteller episode and when she did find out about them, she just felt confused. Acting like there weren't several moments that clearly showed her catching feelings for him too.
It's also annoying that their relationship has an entry in the Unequal Pairing page due to the claim that there's a power imbalance in Katara and Aang's relationship, because apparently Katara tries to act as a parental substitute to him and tends to have the final word when it comes to disagreements. Maybe I'm just too Kataang pilled to see its faults or whatever, but at the same time this is the same site to have that ZK pic on their Fan Preferred Couple page.
Honestly, who cares about what random articles and websites say? Kataang is canon and is never going to not be canon. We won this “ship war” 18 years ago. Hell, we won it 21 years ago because Zuko was never even a romantic option for Katara and was never going to be as Bryke have said over and over.
Kataang vs Zutara isn’t even a valid ship war. Zuko was legitimately never a romantic option. Zutara is a fanon ship, neither of those characters had feelings or even considerations for each other in canon. Zuko had a whole girlfriend and Katara was clearly established to be in love with Aang. At least with other popular ship wars, there is an actual canonical love triangle at play. ATLA never had a love triangle, the fandom just full on invented one. Zutara is straight up copium and projection lmao 🤣
As I’ve said before, Katara never said she was confused about whether she had feelings for Aang. She literally is affirming in that very scene that she does have romantic feelings for him and does want to have a romantic relationship with him but that she feels like they can’t because the war isn’t over. She literally says she’s confused about when/if they can have a relationship in answer to Aang asking when the right time is to have a relationship. This is all stated almost verbatim so.
Katara isn’t Aang’s parental figure and she does not view him as her child nor does he view her as an authority figure to him whatsoever. Aang had a parent and it was monk Gyatso. Yknow, the father he grieves the entire show and movie…
All of these arguments against kataang have been rehashed for decades. It’s getting old lol. Not only does the canon completely contradict all of these statements, but it’s just disingenuous to claim they have canonical weight. They don’t, and we can all see the same exact show on our tv screens. We all saw the same scenes of Katara showing obvious romantic interest in Aang throughout every season of ATLA. We all watched that final scene of their kiss that started their romantic relationship. The rest is history. There was never a canonical rival to kataang. Katara had interest in only one other character which was Jet (no she was not canonically into Haru) for a singular episode (and all the qualities she liked about him were qualities Aang actually had) until she realized he was not who she thought he was.
She also made him a hat that Aang then randomly wears lmfao, oh foreshadowing you are very unsubtle. Like did she give him that hat?? Was she like well here Aang it looks better on you??? Why is he wearing it lol, it cracks me up. Tbh this is the only kataang proof anyone needs 😭😂
People need to get real: Katara was a canonically 14 year old girl that had never even met a boy around her age that wasn’t her brother until she met Aang. She had no relationship experience or experience with identifying romantic love or attraction for what it was. She’d never even set foot outside her village until Aang came along. He changed her entire perception and her entire world for the better. She didn’t recognize her feelings for Aang at first because she was in denial because she was still thinking of him as this deity like figure of Avatar she spent her entire childhood worshipping and she was also lowkey clueless about romance. She recognized that what she DID NOT want was someone like Jet, and then after this started to recognize that what she actually wanted was someone like Aang, and he’d been right in front of her the entire time. Her attraction to and feelings for Aang were well built up and establish as the seasons went on. She was already in love with Aang by mid or late book 2. Her hesitance to start a relationship with Aang wasn’t because she didn’t understand she loved him by that point. She watched this boy die for her right before her eyes. She spent a month nursing him back to health and didn’t know the entire time if he’d even wake up again. She was afraid to lose him and afraid to let herself have a full on romantic relationship with him while the threat and possibility of losing him was still very real. She’d lost her mother, she couldn’t afford to lose Aang for good this time so she set a boundary to protect herself from that. It’s not hard to understand if you’re actually watching the show unbiased as it was clearly intended to be viewed…
She has brought Aang back from the precipice of death TWICE because she loves him that much. Zutarians need to quit flattering themselves, they were never even players
You know, I'm a child free by choice woman and I would love to see more media where a canon married f/m couples have no children, but Katara and Aang have 3 kids wasn't a problem with me because in their case it would make that they both want kids. It's not like one of those annoying times when a female openly says she doesn't want kids and shows zero interest in them, then the writers just has the female suddenly have kids anyway. Really feels like these people complaining about Katara having 3 kids is only happening because she's in the "wrong" ship.
Well, they literally headcanon her having the same amount of kids with Zuko or even more kids than she canonically has so they don’t even gaf about Katara having kids or how many she has anyway. The issue is that she had kids with Aang. Even though that was never something OOC for either character. They both affirmed a desire to have a future like that. Katara spent a whole episode gushing over one day getting married and having children, she even repeatedly got fortune tellings to acquire as much detail as possible about the man she would marry and basically her entire life up until death 😭 she was super happy about the stuff she was told and literally said “some things are going to turn out very well.”
Plus Aang listened into that whole reading Katara was given and was literally jumping for joy over it lmfao 🤣 the second he heard she’d marry a powerful bender bro knew he had it in the bag lol
And then again in book 2, Aang literally told Katara that seeing a married couple with their newborn baby and I quote: “reminded me how I feel about you.” She literally cried when he said that because she clearly felt the same way. So them winding up getting married and starting a family was just??? Exactly what ATLA said they would do eventually
This show straight up told everyone halfway through the first season that Katara and Aang would one day marry and have children. So people acting shocked or confused or in ZK shippers case, outraged, is genuinely ridiculous to me
Katara and Aang having children is a very thematically important aspect of their relationship. They’re genocide survivors. Them surviving a genocidal war together and because of one another and then creating new life is like, crucial to what their romance embodies: perseverance in the face of adversity, communion, and survival

Ugh, I didn't know that one ZK shipper the/b*dger/m*le had an AO3 account until I found one of their fics that was clearly anti Kataang but still tagged Kataang as the main ship. Are they trying to ragebait Kataang shippers tagging their fic like that? Because that's just rude.
Many of them tag kataang as the main ship tag/pairing on ao3 especially when the fic is very anti Aang and anti kataang, that’s why looking for kataang fics is absolute hell unless you specifically filter Zuko/Katara and even then sometimes you’ll still find zutara trash bc they are incapable of leaving us alone even after 21 years
I mean, they have a track record of this behavior anon. They constantly flood the kataang tag on here with zutara bullshit and anti kataang think pieces, they harass shippers via anon hate, they are the reason we had to resort to using #kataangtag. They’re the reason we had to resort to kataang websites during atla’s original run. And even then, they still busted into our sites and forums and made that unusable too
Like they genuinely have the audacity to ask why the ATLA fandom at large hates them so passionately and why so many kataang shippers just block a ZK on sight, as if their ship fandom didn’t hold the ATLA fandom hostage for decades and chase kataang shippers out of our own fandom and ship spaces
Jackie Diaz is actually fucking insane guys, she might be the most delusional of all the zutarians… the way we all are being forced to share a fandom space with nuts like this omfg 😩😐
For those of you not in the loop, she is the author of How I Became Yours, an infamously terrible zutara fan comic she posted online many years ago. It has stuff like Mai getting murdered by Katara, Katara being pregnant at 15, and all sorts of other crazy shit. All of these screenshots are from her website, and I’m not even including the homophobic slurs and other things she’s said about TLOK/korrasami
Not only is she casually saying slurs, but she’s straight up lying about working on the animated Avatar Aang movie that just released 😂 she is claiming she is a professional animator and writer for Avatar Studios, the studio Mike and Bryan the cocreators made in partnership with Nickelodeon. She’s also threatening the cocreators and campaigning for their irl children to be taken away from them. All of this over zutara not being real btw!
She continues lying by claiming that Bryan (forget Mike ig??) stole her script for the Avatar Aang movie and stole her zutara and taang fanon children designs from her laughable and mocked ATLA fan comic How I Became Yours that is notorious for stolen art and its batshit insane plots 🤣🤣🤣 while following that up with yet another ableist and also incredibly racist slur that stems from colonial-era racial theories about Katara and Aang’s canonical children. Fitting for a woman that dickrides the colonial nation in ATLA and a fanon ship with anti native racist origins while having zero critical thought on the matter I guess lol
Mind you Mike and Bryan don’t even know who this woman is. She’s 40 years old acting like this over her fanon ship still not being canon after 21 years. Professional help isn’t enough to solve this problem I fear…
Her comparing zutara being fanon to a real life genocide? Uhhhhhh….. yikes. She then states that Mike and Bryan are worse than a rapist. For not making zutara canon. That is the crime they’ve committed lmao! She claims zutarians are oppressed I’m actually cracking tf up, this is a level of delusion I’ve never witnessed until now
She also said that incest between Sokka and Katara makes more sense than Katara and Aang being a couple? And that Aang should be with Ursa, which is Zuko’s mother????????? Literally what the fuck is wrong with her I’m asdfghjkl 😭😭😭
Them headcanoning Aang as a rapist toward his canonical wife and mother of his children who loves him apparently isn’t enough for these weirdos. They’re so jealous of canon that they’re now headcanoning him being a child abuser toward Zuko and Katara’s kids that don’t even exist lmao 😭
Aang has a ton of angst as a character but these losers can’t even characterize his angst accurately because they’re too busy projecting weird shit onto his character and treating him like some blank slate they can slap anything onto lol
Also… “steambabies”… it sounds like children getting broiled alive or something 😂 Zootarians saw Kataang shippers call their canonical children “cloudbabies” back in 2012 when TLOK premiered and stole that from us too just like they steal everything else. They want the Kataang cloud family nachos so bad it makes them look stupid as fuck
You know, to each to their own, but I never got the logic behind saying that Katara was a "breeding machine" or "forced to have children with aang" and then putting her in a throne with Zuko. She is a woman and later a political figure by the end to the story, the pressure to have children was realistically imposed to her naturally because of the patriarchal word they live in and challenge. I think pairing her with Zuko, the embodiment of monarchy, wouldn't lessen the pressure at all 😭time and time again the canon showed us that Aang and Katara loved each other and that it was natural for them to have children in the future.
I mean, yeah I think Katara and Aang just wanted to have a family. We saw they both were really good with kids younger than them, particularly babies in ATLA. And while it’s entirely possible that there was some sort of external pressure or expectation for Katara to have children, I doubt that it was ever something that deeply affected her relationship with Aang. I think realistically there wouldn’t be pressure on having children in general but rather if that child was an airbender. I also doubt very seriously whether Aang actually hoped any of his children would be airbenders, specifically because I don’t believe he would want them to experience that burden. I think if anyone actually hoped their child would be an airbender, it would probably be Katara. Not that she would be disappointed if they weren’t, or love them less or something. But I do think she would want it way more than Aang, even if she didn’t say so aloud.
Then again, all of this is ultimately fanon interpretation and hypothetical. We don’t have canonical reference for any of this. I just think it would make sense personally.
Anyway, to address your comment as far as ZK is concerned: you see it’s actually all an issue specifically because she’s with Aang and not Zuko. If she’s with Zuko then all of these problems vanish into thin air because she’s with Zuko :) understand?
my most cringe comic yet but I’m free so who cares
Katara needs a few dozen kisses every night before eepy time as a treat

So sorry for bombarding you with asks but I've been trying to find the post where you shared a link to another post that had more information about how Aang's culture most likely viewed about sexuality and relationships and stuff. I might even be mis-remebering and it might have actually been another user who actually shared that link... but I do remember it was a post that made me actually fall in love with the hc of soft dom aang. If it was you with that post, could you maybe reblog it or just send the link to it through my own asks?
Hey you’re fine no worries! I haven’t gotten around to answering the other asks because I’m working lol, but I’ve got a minute and I think you’re talking about this post? I linked a meta/analysis on this topic in this answered ask. If this isn’t the one you’re thinking of, please reach back out so I can try to find it for you!

Y’all I’m thinking again about the concept of Katara and Aang’s love story becoming a legend like the Cave of Two Lovers as the centuries pass lol. It would be so amazing if somehow that was incorporated into Avatar Seven Havens
I need this to be a real thing.
like what if they have their own little monument or something in / near one of the Air Temples that's somewhere hidden but once you find it it's like the most tranquil, beautiful places where you can like feel serenity when you walk in.
One of us in kataang nation is gonna have to write this as a fic immediately because this isn’t a want, it’s a NEED
Idk what I wrote. This definitely could be written better, but I haven't written fanfictions in AGES (it's legit been 3 years) so my skills are rusty.
It would have helped if I knew what Jae, Pavi and Nisha's characters were like, but the teaser gives away nothing lol.
This is also a quick thing with no editing and I just went with the flow, so I didn't plan what to write in advance either. The ending could also be improved.
But eh, I'll stop critizing my own writing for lol lol. I do hope you like it. This just inspired me a lot. Enough to write a fanfiction after 3 years.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
The Western Air temple, just like the rest of the world, was a shell if it's former glory, far from how the few remaining books described it to be when it was still inhabited by the air benders and acolytes.
The upside-down structure had cracks in the walls and pillars, moss and ivy covering the weak framework in green. The fountain had stopped releasing water eons ago, the metal around it crumbling as rust ate away at it.
Jae hopped off his hover board, holding it tucked between his arm and side as he scanned the place, before turning to look at Pavi and Nisha, awe in his eyes.
"Welcome to the Western Air Temple," He said, a smile on his face as his grey eyes fleeted around the building again.
How much he had wanted to visit the place where the past air benders used to live in before the apocalypse.
It didn't look like it did in pictures and paintings, but it was the real place, the physical proof that parts of the world still existed beyond the seven havens. It was beautiful.
It also had a high spiritual energy. The air made his skin hum, tugging and beckoning him somewhere deeper.
He turned back towards the twin to tell them so, but stopped when he saw them sit down with their backs pressed against the other, looking tired. His face softened and he walked towards them, sitting down nearby with his back to a moss-covered pillar.
It had been a long journey. They had to fight off too many spirits and humans alike on their journey. He's sure they can wait until the sun rises again before they have to get moving. This temple was hidden from passersby — however rare they may be.
They were safe. It was a luxury they could barely afford. He was willing to let the kids indulge in every second of it.
Reaching into his satchel, he pulled out the little food they had been rationing, handing a little to Pavi and Nisha. It wasn't much, but atleast they won't go to bed on a hungry stomach for another day — though the food was running out and he needs to find a place where he can refill it.
"We'll rest here for today, maybe tomorrow, then we'll continue," He informed them, his tone a touch apologetic.
The constant travel was starting to wear down on all of them.
"Fine," Pavi mumbled, picking at her food, voice tired as she leaned a little more on Nisha subconsciously before straightening up when her twin made a noise of protest at the added weight. "Sorry."
"I'll find something to start a fire," Jae said, standing up and dusting his hands, already finished with his portion of food.
The twins made a noise of agreement, so he left them there and ventured deeper into the temple. The tug was there again, faint and pleasant, calling him somewhere, though he couldn't pin-point where.
He found scraps of wood before he found the source of the tug, so he gathered them and returned back to where the twins were, not wanting to leave them alone for too long, especially when the few times he did so in the past, they got attacked.
The night winded down without event after he started a fire. The three of them huddled near it's warmth and planned their next moves until Nisha yawned, then Pavi, and then he followed, getting a giggle out of the twins, his own lips twitching into a smile.
Sleep came quickly. There was something in the air along with the warmth of the fire which lulled them in a shroud of safety as the blanket of sleep covered them.
***
Jae opened his eyes to a noise.
The fire had died a while ago, the air around it still warm. It was still night, the temple shrouded in darkness.
He sleepily looked around, his eyes landing on Nisha, still asleep, curling into herself. The space beside her was… empty.
Any residue of sleep left him as he immediately sat up, his voice a little raised as he called out Pavi's name, inevitably waking up her twin too. Nisha noticed the lack of body warmth beside her and immediately stood up as well.
"Pavi!" Jae called again, voice higher now that Nisha was awake. His voice echoed off the empty walls of the temple.
"I'm here!" Pavi's voice came back from somewhere inside the temple, and he breathed out in relief, grabbing his howerboard and following the sound, Nisha hot on his tails.
The tug was stronger as he reached a door he hadn't seen before, gently pushing it open, "Pavi, you can't roam around without telling us. You scared us for a moment—"
The words died in his mouth as he took the place he was in.
This section was nothing like the rest of the air temple. The air was cleaner than he had ever breathed, the moss in the other parts of the temple replaced with actual plants and creepers. There was even a tree which still grew apples, big and fresh and red.
It was beautiful, it was fascinating.
But what drew his attention more was the huge statue in front of which Pavi was standing, head tilted up to gaze at it, green eyes focused on it with an intensity he had started to associate with the young Avatar.
His breath caught in his throat.
It was a statue of a man and a woman, hand in hand, facing eachother. Creepers clung to the old stone, white flowers blooming, though the statue itself was left without damage.
Beneath the green, he could see the woman's attire was the one of the former water tribes which he saw in books as he got closer, hair twisted in a braid which looked soft to touch even if carved out of stone. The man beside her had arrow tattoos he could recognize anywhere — air nomad.
He approached closer and Pavi looked up at him, "I felt this pull… I had to see what it was."
"I felt it too." He admitted, reluctantly tearing his gaze away from the statue to look down at her.
"Something's written here," Nisha said, having wandered to the wall beside the statue.
Jae looked at the wall. The script was old, not something he was fluent in, and the only source of light was the full moon, but he could make out the words after a little struggle, "Aang and Katara."
The names were familiar like a distant memory. Like books he skimmed past while searching for something particular.
"The lovers who defied death."
Pavi had walked towards the wall as well, gently pushing the creepers aside to stare at the words, even if she couldn't understand what they were saying.
Jae looked between the words and the statue a few times, "Hah! I remember! Pavi, this is your past life Avatar Aang and the waterbending Master Katara."
"My past life," Pavi echoed, turning to look at Jae who nodded with a awe-full smile.
"They're legends." He moved closer to the wall, touching the carved words with fascinated fingers, "I heard this story when I was younger. Younger than you two."
"Can you tell us?" Nisha asked, bouncing on the balls of her feet, a curious and excited glint in her eyes.
"Aang was the Avatar before Avatar Korra," He turned to look at the twins, reminiscing the story, "The one who stopped the hundred year war which the books talk about. Katara was his lover, the one who brought him back to life not once, but twice."
Pavi blinked, looking at the statue. They were facing eachother in the sculpture, smiles carved on the stone which somehow managed to show the love they once shared, "You can do that?"
"If you're Katara, you can," Jae said, staring at the carved words, reading them out loud as he deciphered them, "Katara brought her lover back to life two times. The two stand as the proof that love can defy the laws of the universe. This statue is here to honor the love they had for eachother, in the place where they once seeked shelter along with their friends during the last few days of the hundred year war."
"Does it say how she brought him back to life?" Nisha asked.
"The first time was when he was hit by lightning during a confrontation with the former fire nation's princess. Azula, I think her name was." Jae turned to her, "Katara flooded the cave they were in just to get to him and healed him using spirit water."
"And the second time?" This time it was Pavi who asked.
"The details of that are less known," Jae admitted, "But the legend says he died while confronting an airbender who was sealed away for five thousand years, and she brought him back again."
"That sounds amazing," Nisha breathed.
"Yeah," Jae looked around the place, the apple tree, the plants, the statues, "This place is also filled with spiritual energy. I've never felt energy this strong anywhere."
"I feel it too." Pavi reached out, gently brushing her fingers over the cool stone the statues were carved out of, "It's like this whole place is… alive. Like the two are still here."
"Can we stay here for the rest of the night," Nisha asked, looking at Jae, tilting her head in a way which was adorable, "It's peaceful here, and it also feels safer than outside."
He smiled, looking at the statue then back to the twins, "Sure."
He placed his howerboard on the ground, hopping on it, "But first, who wants some apples?"
Two hands shot up at once, giggles filling the quiet as he smiled and flew towards the top of the tree, grabbing as many fruits as his hands and satchel would fit.
Guess he didn't have to worry about running out of food. Not when the legends still managed to take care of the people they left behind long ago.
Awwww 😭 omg I love this, thank you sm for writing it!! I really hope we get something like this in Seven Havens, I think it would be such a full circle moment
I wonder if Aang has nightmares like what we see in the movie often. Need a whump hurt/comfort kataang fic for this on my desk by 8pm actually!
Okay idk about 8pm pls don’t shoot me:
But I’m thinking (quick Drabble forgive if it’s awful):
Katara had seen this before.
On the surface, to those who don’t know him like she does, his smile appeared as radiant as usual. It remained plastered on his face throughout their duties, and the picture he painted was sufficient fooling the politicians and citizens around him.
But Katara had long learned to look deeper than that.
She noticed. How he mumbled to himself when he thought he was alone, the restless fidgeting of his hands.
Of course she noticed, and she had seen this before.
And all the songs pointed to one conclusion.
Aang was not sleeping.
Now, in their busy lives, it wasn’t entirely rare to lose sleep, especially when they were set on rebuilding the world. Duties and responsibilities often led to shared sleepless nights.
But…
This felt different.
And familiar.
She had tried to ask him, gently poking at the walls she felt him put up; but he had deflected softly, reassuring her with a small, tired smile.
But the filtered look in those usually bright grey eyes stirred worry in her stomach.
Her sun was dimming, and she had to figure out why.
One night, in her apartment, Katara’s eyes flutter open. Once her eyes adjust to the darkness, her hand instantly reaches for Aang’s.
She’s met with nothing.
Immediately alarmed, her senses sharpen and the sheets rustle as she sits up, glancing around in the dark.
Then she hears it.
A sound so quiet, and tiny she almost missed it.
It was muffled and utterly heartbreaking.
There, his figure illuminated on the balcony, his shoulders trembling and his body hunched over in pain, was Aang.
Katara felt her heart squeeze.

AHHHH WHAT DO YOU THINK, SHOULD I WORK OK THIS?? Do you see the vision? 🤭
*slides you a bill* Yeah so I’m going to need 5 million words by this weekend, ok? Thanks! 😊
MY ANGST ADDICTION FAHHHHHHH
I’ll use that bill to pay for my therapy
Speaking of addiction: what do we think about Aang going to Iroh and asking for a tea that would help him stay awake. Then he keeps relying on that tea to keep him up, because he doesn’t want to sleep and face his nightmares AND HE DOESN’T WANT TO BURDEN KATARA CAUSE SHE’S SO BUSY.
But it makes him jittery, and he’s not functioning properly, and Katara quickly picks up on it.
Queue Kataang angst, hurt & comfort 🤪
Ooo like a nightmares and daydreams situation lol yes I approve, especially if he’s been doing it since he left on one of his trips so Katara isn’t even aware of it at first until he’s back home and something’s off ☝️
Especially bc I think Aang constantly being around or in the temples is probably massively triggering, so his nightmares are probably much worse so it would make sense if he tried to avoid sleeping while out there? Just an idea lol
I wonder if Aang has nightmares like what we see in the movie often. Need a whump hurt/comfort kataang fic for this on my desk by 8pm actually!

Katara felt her heart squeeze.

i am for dom aang agenda but that guy is a sap for katara too. he'd crawl and yowl for her. he would hold her by the bicep in public even when he is way taller than her. he is crushing super hard, and getting roasted in the council meeting for getting caught staring when he isn't supposed to. i think aang has some serious kinks and he is too awkward to share them at first, but he isn't innocent by any stretch of the imagination with katara
Well hello there and good morning to me I guess lol! What a message to wake up to. Anyway, to give you a response: Aang to me is lowkey a freak but he hides it pretty well 😂 like Katara would be randomly stumbling upon a kink of his in the moment rather than him telling her imo. Aang is just very good at regulating his emotions and he’s a bit reserved sometimes. I genuinely think Aang loves going down on Katara more than any other sexual act fr, like that man is eating her out until she’s crying and that’s canon 😭 WHO SAID THAT??!?!
I wonder if Aang has nightmares like what we see in the movie often. Need a whump hurt/comfort kataang fic for this on my desk by 8pm actually!
