Just want to get this out of the way, art is only a side thing for me, as game development is my main focus. Any art I do make, i'll post on here, alongside Newgrounds and Cara. I also have an Itch.io page for my game projects!

Trees of Wodrokood

Finally got around to making an art piece.

I've been so busy working on my game, that I haven't gotten around to making art for a while.

Remember, art is only a side thing for me. As my main focus is game development.

Wodrokood is a large village on the southern side of planet Medorasi.

The inhabitants have made there homes inside the gigantic trees (which are 50x larger than Redwood trees).

The village is so high up, barely any of the inhabitants ever go down onto the surface, as all their services and resources are managed within buildings inside the trees.

The pink vines have bioluminascent spheres growing on them, acting a natural lightways during the night. The spheres are extremely durable, and hard to cut open, but even if you could, it's outlawed in the region.

The inhabitants travel across trees through bridges and sky trams (Which isn't shown in this artwork).

Bizarrely, wildfires don't happen in the area, as the trees have incredible durability to heat. The bark is also incredibly durable on the outside.

To make a new building inside a tree, you have to bore into it, and them gut the tree from the inside. (It's softer on the inside)

This was actually the last art piece I made in Sketchpad 4.0.

CAVES OF MYTAKON

Mytakon is an underground city located on the rocky planet of Rodoshy. All life on the planet is housed completly underground.

Mytakon is the capital of the planet, and is the most populated settlement on it.

The building are on the ceiling of the caves, since the ground is to dangerous and full of THOUSANDS of different hostile creatures (not to mention the BILLIONS stalagmites covering the ground).

The inhabitants make their buildings and materials out of Rodoshian metals mined upwards from the ceiling. And yes, they did make openings on the surface for visitors, such as inhabitants from Tyanon, their Military ally.

The city has vines that have glowing orbs on the end of the stems, which give off heat and energy. The gel from the orbs can be harvested as a power source, and they circulate it through the city by using tubes full of the gel instead of wires. The gel lasts thousands of years, so the gel doesn't have to be harvested alot.

Unfortunately, the plants and gel cannot survive outside the planet's atmosphere, so distributing it to other planets has proven near impossible, despite numerous planets' desire for it, especially Smoter, which is going through a resource crisis. (Besides, they wouldn't be able to afford it, given how INSANELY poor the inhabitants are.)

Hopefully one day, a planet could figure out a working atmosphere for the plants (which would be extremely difficult, given how INSANELY complex Mytakon's atmosphere is) and create a working greenhouse and storage system for them. It would be beneficial to alot of worlds that might need it (although there are many risks on putting a Planetarily foreign substance on another planet).

KYRONITE

Inspired by the Gum Shield enemies from Dragon Quest

Kyronites are a species of Kangaroo-like sapients hailing from planet Tynanon. They have pitch black fur, a large, permenant grim, and two large bioluminascent eyes that glow brightly in the dark. They always carry around a massive shield with a monsterous, human-like face. The shield's appearence and face can vary depending on the occupation of the wielder. A kyronite's gloves and boots are color coded also depending on their occupation.

Examples:

Warrior = Red

Medical = Teal

Worker = Yellow

Scientist = Green

Magic = Blue

Royalty = Magenta

Monarch = Purple

Education = Brown

Religious = Grey

Child = Orange

Entertainment = Pink

Weddings = White

A Kyronite's shield is able to emit a blinding flash of light from it's eyes, cause brief paralysis to the target. useful for fleeing.

Kyronites are thieves by nature, sneaking into other settlements in order to steal (and optionally vandalizing for fun along the way.) However, some Kyronite communities are actually against this, chosen to make everything by themselves (Thieving communites also do this, but only when it comes to construction, food, tailoring, weapon/toolsmithing, art, etc.)

Normally, Kyronites aren't violent. They'd rather run from a fight than partake in it, although they will still fight when it comes to defending there territory or as a last resort.

Kyronites are genderless, but still need a mate in order to have children.

Kyronites make up 34% of Tyanon's population, and their settlements are housed in arid deserts, and even underground or in caverns. They don't have any form of transportation, given that they are very nimble and fast.

LIBRARY OF LYMUUN

Lymuun is a small planet that mostly consists of a massive purple jungle. The inhabitants have traveled across the great cosmos of the Anoverse and stored all of the information about their findings as well as their own history within books that are available inside a massive library. The library is the biggest structure on the planet, to the point where it can be seen above the planet's massive trees.

Lymuun has a sentient natural satellite named Muliira that serves as a benevolent nurturer for the planet, helping to keep the nature thriving by shining their moonlight across the surface.

VILLAGE OF EDEKOSIS

Edekosis is a village located by a large lake in the middle of the barren desert planet, Skeskadon.

The water from the waterfalls has been coursing through the tunnels beneath the planets ground for centuries before finally being freed through the waterfalls, which is miraculous, at water is rarely seen on the surface of Skeskadon. Most of the other settlements on the panet on had to dig through the deep sand for years just to reach water, which is why water mines and giant wells are common on Skeskadon.

Edekosis is the biggest and most populated city on Skeskadon, thanks to the large lake and many flora, (The the inhabitants are herbivourous). Not to mention that since the lake & village is surrounded by large hills, the inhabitants are safe from the many monsters that prowl the planet's endless sands.

COMSON TOWER

I made this to try out HiPaint, but I didn't like the software, so I moved on to IbisPaintX. I feel this definetley wasn't my best work because of that.

MALVOLKA TOWERS

Malvolka is a planet with a surface made entirely of eternally burning fire, and because of that, the tempurature levels are incalculable.

However, despite impossible odds, life still managed to form on the planet. The inhabitants are quite advanced, and they all live in massive towers that stick out from the surface's engulfing flames. The inhabitants have a knack for creating various machinery, all powered by heat. In fact, they use heat as a power source for absolutely every piece of technology on Malvolka.

The towers (as well as practically everything else the inhabitants made) are made from Malvolkian metals mined from the planet's solid mantle, which was not a hard task, as the inhabitants have absolute invulnerability to the unimaginally intense heat.

Thankfully, Malvolka's incalulable heat never goes past the atmosphere of the planet, so none of the nearby planets (Such as Dallavick) are affected by the intense tempuratures.

EDGE OF OVADIRA

Inspired by the Flammarion Engraving. (My favorite art piece)

Ovadira is a large floating chunk of land in the endless cosmos of the Anoverse. It's been given Light, Warmth, and Life by its very own sun known as Devida. The inhabitants have a huge fascination for astronomy.

A large, living celestial body known as Amonna acts as Ovadira's natural satellite. However, Amonna is not visible through Ovadira's atmospshere, unless you were to travel all the way to the very edge, where you have the chance to converse with her. The elders and monarchs of Ovadira of approach her for advice, wisdom, and knowledge, as the inhabitants of Ovadira commonly refer to her as their "Great Mentor".

As for their sun, Devita, the inhabitants worship and gratefully praise her for giving life to all of Ovadira. She's commonly referred to as "The Queen of Light", and "Greater Mother" by the inhabitants of Ovadira.

Currently, none of the inhabitants have been able to venture outside Ovadira, but they know that there are worlds beyond their own, as they have been told by Amonna many tales and stories about other worlds throughout the cosmos of the Anoverse.

The inhabitants hope that one day, they can finally gain the ability to travel out to the stars and beyond, and befriend any other life they find along the way.

Ngl, this definetly wasn't one of my favorites, mainly due to it being alot less surreal than the others...

However, it was the first art piece I made that I gave lore to.

Twylavus was once a thriving kingdom many years ago, but alas, after several massive fissures appeared after a huge quake, the inhabitents were forced to abandoned it. Nowadays, the ruins of the kingdom is infested with monsters and dark spirits that have claimed it as their territory, so it's off limits to the public. Only strong warriors or individuals with special training are allowed to enter.
