this is good
I’d just like to add, see how they behave when they’re angry/frustrated/exhausted, and if you see something that concerns you, wait until they’re calm, and then talk to them about it.
My husband used to yell when he got frustrated, but after I explained to him that I found it upsetting, he stopped yelling and started consciously working on asking for help before he got to that level of frustration.
When I’m upset over something, or just in a bad mood, I tend to withdraw. My husband explained to me that it makes him feel like I’m mad at him, so now when I need some space, I’ll tell him what I’m upset about, or that I’m in a bad mood for no particular reason, and I need to be alone for a little while.
See your friends and partners at their worst, but don’t assume that their worst is immutable. If someone loves and cares about you, they’ll try to accommodate you to the best of their ability.
You know what’s really hot? Not having to guess someone’s feelings or intentions
You mean being single
No, I mean a mature, healthy relationship
ah yes time for the sacred american tradition of IT’S NOT THE 4TH YET ASSHOLE STOP SHOOTING OFF FIREWORKS
Gather around American boys and girls, it’s time to play “Is it fireworks or gunshots?”
Already playing at 3am July 2nd it’s gonna be a long one lads

JUST LETTING Y'ALL KNOW WHERE THIS BLOG STANDS.
What tf
Im not trying to defend anyone here, but as a human who once was extremely religious and loosened her bolts over the years, a lot of people in the church are against homosexuality but aren’t afraid of those who are gay. Meaning that, they do not believe in or support homosexual actions, but they do still talk to those who are homosexual, and will become friends with them if their beliefs don’t get in the way. It’s like, if I were to not like spinach, so I don’t support the idea of farmers growing spinach because I don’t like it, but my best friend loves spinach. Like, obviously I’m not going to look past her or him; I’m going to love him/her anyway, but I’m not going to take part in her spinach-eating lifestyle, nor will I enjoy watching her eat spinach. It doesn’t make me a spinachfobic person; it just means that I don’t wish to eat spinach: partake in the spinach lifestyle. I hope this made some sense and cleared some things.
When will straight people fucking stop
When u get compared to a piece of spinach
We…just got compared…….to vegetables…..
“SPINACHFOBIC” “PARTAKE IN THE SPINACH LIFESTYLE”
Okay all of you are being ignorant. I’m Christian and I don’t believe being gay is right, HOWEVER, I love my gay, trans, lesbian, bi friends and I fully accept them. I don’t shun them. So the above tweet is completely valid. I am against it, BUT I am far from homophobic. I will not try to push you out of it and I fucking accept you. So don’t start asking “when will straight people stop” because that’s rude, and basically shitting on our religion. Honestly that was a veeery bad comparison with the spinach and I cringed, but please don’t be ignorant.

CD Review:Â Flogging Molly - Life Is Good
Vanguard Records 2017
Genre: celtic punk
Okay, I wasn’t going to add this, but then I remembered the days when I used to listen to “Shipping Up To Boston” on repeat, and the nostalgia compelled me. That said, I think it’s general knowledge that Flogging Molly is “better” (read: less agro) than Dropkick Murphys, but both deal in the same celtic-influenced, string-section-led, high energy punk that you’d probably hear when you order a Guinness in Boston. It’s not all great, and the tracks that sacrifice some of the energy to make more of a political point (8’s Jericho referencing) suffer for it, but when FM is on, they’re on, whether it’s the slower, ending-credits feel of 7 and 10, the faster pace of 11 and 3 (the latter about a dying boomtown, one of the political songs that works), or the three-movements-in-four-minutes of 2. Yeah, it’s a bit cheesy, but the protein is probably good for you. Probably.
RIYL: Dropkick Murphys, Bad Religion, The Real McKenzies, The Pogues
E: 2, 11, 7, 10, 3
The WRFL Show Spotlight: Old-School Hip-Hop (Monday 10PM-midnight)
This blog post is my recital, I think it’s very vital
To rock (a rhyme), that’s right (on time)
It’s Old School Hip-hop time now, here we got’s Tommy to spin a track, to rock the shack, that makes your speakers go wack.
It’s tricky, it’s trick (tricky) tricky (tricky)
He starts a little early, his beats are far from squirrelly He goes to the station and busts them out, you’ll never wanna leave early
These beats are really easy, you won’t ever hear YeezyÂ
So Spend some time on Tom’s line, and say every Monday 10-midnight weekly,

CD Review: Holy Oak - Second Son
2017: Holy Oak Music
Genre: Folksy Alt Rock
Second Sun is folk rock at its most tender. Every song on this album is some degree of mellow, down-tempo and melancholy, and it’s clear that Holy Oak knows where their strength as a band lies. While the album’s opening tracks are a bit less promising, the album hits its stride about a third of the way through with songs about the melancholy and distance of travel. Here is where the band’s attempts at poetry (which at moments can be sublime, like in the song “Isabelle,” a song about lost love that really does ache with longing) can occasionally feel like it’s reaching a bit too far, and the metaphors can feel a bit unnatural. Aside from this, the songs are simple and unobtrusive; acoustic guitar and the occasional synthy back-up are not particularly remarkable, but set a simple backdrop for the captivating beauty of Neil Holyoak’s voice which is, perhaps, the most captivating aspect of this album.
Listen If You Love: John K. Samson, Bon Iver, The Weakerthans
Excellent Tracks: 4!, 5, 6!, 7, 8!, 9
