A little about me:

Pronouns: She/her.

Age: I will never tell (but I was born in 1973).

I have been crocheting for over four decades. I do not have a crochet niche, love to work with almost all sizes of thread or yarn making anything that strikes my creative mind in the moment. I always have 3 or 4 projects in the making, a few patterns that need to be written, a list of future pattern ideas, a pile of things with ends needing to be worked in, and way too much yarn (while constantly getting more). I love to design my own patterns and finding other designer's patterns to try.

I am currently selling patterns on Etsy and am desperate to quit that site all together for many, many reasons. I am working at gradually removing, restyling, and editing my Etsy patterns and listing them on other sites. I will post links once this begins to happen (but not to Etsy, just want to be done with them). So keep your eyes open for both paid and free patterns coming soon.

This is my space to show off my chaotic crochet process. Sometimes my mind may wander (or wonder? Maybe both?) and I might post some of my cat, flowers or fairy gardens.

This is a safe space for all happy hookers who want to follow along and get hooking with me.

Another Manic Monday of planning my week of crochet, but first here's a picture of a lovely little critter that visits my back yard. This morning breakfasting on tulip leaves.

Okay onto my crochet plans.

I am so close I can actually sort of put it on and see how it's working out. This week My goal is to get my 2nd Elf Coat Sleeve crocheted (pink)

I am about half done My final slipcover, stay tuned, I will be asking for help with the pattern name. (yellow).

A photo of a project for a totally new blog idea that is going to be very focused. So far I am not revealing what's going on with this, the photo is a little sneak peek.

My sticky note cupboard from last Monday to today, I know only 3 notes were removed last week. But once I finish crocheting that last darn slipcover, the rest of the yellow notes will move quickly since they are the publishing and promoting tasks.

And the last photo are my lonely, sad projects waiting in my "Queue to do" list.

I've got the 1st sleeve done and sewn onto the Elf Coat. I am really excited, now with a sleeve I can kind of put it on to see how it's fitting. I did need to add extra rows to the cuff, seam on the cuff turned out a little wonky, I might rethink how to work this to get it straight.

Back with another Manic Monday and a loop at this week's to-do projects. I am further refining my planning process to try to keep on track and my plans a little less scattered. Last week I decided to only allow myself 3 projects on to go at a times, as new ideas come up they will need to go into my "queue of things to do". This week I've decided to change how I do my sticky note cabinet. Instead of sticking up notes for the week only, I am sticking up notes for each project (broken down into very small tasks) from start to finish - from initial plans to all listing and posts complete, then I can keep it all in one place. I will track my progress from week to week to see how many notes I can remove,

On to my crochet tasks for this week:

Sew on my Elf Coat sleeve and crochet the trim. (Pink notes)

I finished the slip cover pattern for the Neck Noodle, this week I begin the final slip cover for the cuddle noodle (yellow notes). I am excited to be finishing up this cuddle noodle series.

I am working on a secondary crochet business that focuses on a very specific crochet niche. Right now I am making these crochet and crystals lotus. All of this will be run under another blog, when there is crossover I will post it here as well in my Manic Monday posts and through re-blogs.

Look at all of these to-do sticky notes. I am looking forward to tracking my progress through these Manic Monday posts.

The fifth photo shows o few of my "In queue to do" ideas.

I have been all over the place lately with my crochet, even started on a new idea. My Manic Monday's, along with my other posts, have been getting missed. I am back with a new desire to focus. However, this could change once I can actually get out to do yard work and outside time. We have been having some kind of weird weather happenings where I live, keep fluctuating between temps of plus 20ish Celsius to minus 5 within days, back and forth, up and down.

I have so many projects constantly on-the-go, with forever new ideas happening regularly. My new goal, my new focus: I can ONLY have 3 projects happening within any given week. New ideas or unfinished stuff we need to go in my to-do queue until a current to-do is done!!!

Here are this week's 3 projects I am working on:

Still working on my "For Me Friday" Elf Coat. I am almost there. I got the 1st sleeve half done, then realized I forgot to adjust the size to match with the adjustments I made on the front and backs. Tear apart and start over it is. This week I will finish the first sleeve.

I am well on my way to finally getting the Cuddle Noodle Pattern series complete. I have crocheted all of the Cuddle Noodles, created a pattern for some Neck Noodle pillows. I finished the Soft Slumber Cuddle Noodle Slipcover and Mini Slumber Neck Noodle Slipcover patterns. Working on 1 more slipcover pattern. This week I will crochet the Neck Noodle Slipcover and get a good start on the final Cuddle Noodle cover.

Here is my latest idea, I am hoping to create these to sell the finished projects. I am combining my love of crochet with the healing power of crystals. I may start a side blog and shop so these can stand alone on their own.

I got the right front crocheted and steamed this week, I am getting so close. Only the sleeves, hood, and trim left to go!!!!

I was just starting to plan my summer fairy gardens and I woke up to 2 hours of having to shovel snow!!!

Oh well, onto this week's crochet plans.

I am really happy with my Elf Coat progress so far. This week I plan to crochet the right front and get it steamed.

2. Still working on the Cuddle Noodles, and I keep getting more ideas. I have added some Neck Noodle pillows to the pattern. Getting those done this week then finishing the slip covers. Hoping patterns will be able to be published in 2 weeks.

Found out the friend's baby shower will be May 2. I had a bit of a panic about it last week and got most of the blanket done. Now I realize I have a little more than 4 weeks until it's needed and only about 6 rounds to work. I am loving the way the pattern is turning out.

And there's still be basic stitch tutorials on the go. I am making a series demonstrating the basic stitches in rows and rounds, creating a washcloth for each post. I am also going to be including some basic free hat patterns with some fun pompom designs. (Just realized by the time I'm done this it will be summer) oh well, it was middle of winter when the inspiration struck!

I got the back of the Elf Coat pinned out and steamed. I overfilled my steamer so it had a bit of a hot water "throw up" onto the coat. See the darker spots, i hope they dry out okay. Next I can get started on the right front of the coat, it is getting so close to being done!!!!
