after starting in january, i finished my first ever watch of supernatural today. the end of an era.
clearly i'm devastated. i thought the last season was fun (season 14 was aggravating tho lol) and i'm so glad the destiel confession was canon, even though they did absolutely nothing with it afterward when jack DEFINITELY could have brought cass back or dean could have seen him in heaven. anyway.
what am i supposed to do with my life now? like supernatural is not the best show ever written but i love these characters so much. i understand the strength of the fandom now and i'm glad to be a part of it <3 i thought my friend was crazy for watching it again (MULTIPLE times at that) but having a clip from season 1 play after i finished the finale really got me and you will see me watching lots of compilation videos. and maybe i'll do a very uncharacteristic rewatch someday.

listening to a fan-made audiobook of heaven official's blessing (shout out crimson rain) and in vol. 3 after the whole brocade immortal thing (and small spoiler: when xie lian figured out that hua cheng was pretending to be lan ying), xie lian said "it's beena long time since he'd seen hua cheng." but SIR! their previous encounter (altar making-out session) when mount tonghulu opened was like!!! a week ago!!! i may not have a good grasp of time in these books but this brocade immortal thing was wrapped up QUICK. c'mon now, just admit you want to marry him

Most unrealistic part of the Dreamer Trilogy is that Ronan Lynch, first-generation Irish-American, never ONCE gives any shit to or even lightly ribs Hennessy for being British
the raven cycle is such a world stopping, life-changing universe. the way this group of teenagers is trying so hard to find - and to understand - themselves in this world full of magic and history is so earth shattering; because yes, i'd also feel like i didn't know who i was when i was 16, and yes, i also felt like everything was so big and every emotion was so overwhelming - just like them. this beautifully written universe of magic, and love and friendship, and family is so relatable when you're 16, and, surprisingly, just as relatable when you're 20. i already miss them. (alternative title to This: i Just finished the dreamer triology and i'm so sad)

What I like about Adam Parrish and Ronan Lynch is that they have so much potential for the grumpy and sunshine dynamic except instead they’re just both grumpy and the role of sunshine just falls on whichever one of them happens to be slightly more mentally/emotionally stable at the time which changes every 15-30 seconds
