I want to address the allegations and scandal that has engulfed Percy Hynes White. As a survivor of SA, I take all allegations seriously and give all accusers the benefit of the doubt. When I was first made aware of these allegations my heart dropped into my stomach, and I felt the first stirrings of panic rise. My own experiences make me specially sensitive when these things occur. You could say Iām triggered. I logged off for my own mental and emotional well being. Once I calmed down, I logged back on and went to read the allegations. I didnāt want to believe that Percy was capable of such a thing, but as someone who believes victims first, I was open to the possibility that this kid I thought was charming, funny and sweet was an illusion and the reality was that a monster lurked beneath the surface. However, as I began to read through the tweets and āevidenceā against this man, something didnāt add up.
Thatās when the anger kicked in. Do you know how insulting it is, as a survivor of rape, when girls make false allegations? Do you know the damage that it does to legitimate victims? The likely hood that they will receive justice falls even lower than it already was. It is a further violation committed against us. And there is no justification.
So over the last few days we have learned that Percy himself committed no crimes - he did not SA anyone. Weāve learned that at worst, while a teen, he was cavalier with a girlās feelings. Not kind, but if we are to believe this is true, he also apologised when older and wiser. We have learned that when he learnt that a friend of his was capable of such horror, he ended the friendship and he was kind and compassionate to the victim.
When all that came to light, his accusers tried another avenue to smear him - they called him a racist. Their evidence? A video of a very young Percy quoting a tv show. The line happened to contain a slur. Stupid, but I think forgivable considering his age at the time. But thatās not all, according to the girls, they also offered instagram likes as proof. Problem is, the post they referenced, was not what they claimed. And donāt even get me started on his supposed twitter likes. He doesnāt even have a twitter account.
Then they tried another route - kink shaming. Again, they posted unverifiable āproofā that he liked some kinky stuff. Ok, thatās not a crime first of all. And second, fantasies and exploration of your sexuality is normal. There is nothing wrong with that except the fact that these girls violated Percyās privacy by telling everyone.
Throughout all of this, all anyone has proven is that one girl was possibly assaulted by someone that Percy knew. He reacted with shock but kindness when he found out. As to be expected. But most of all, we learned that Percy is the victim here. And we learned that there are many among us that are more vile than I ever feared.
Heās a victim of vindictive little girls who held on to images they never should have had to justify false allegations in an attempt to ruin his life because he didnāt reciprocate their affections.
This is fucking sick. It makes me sick, it pisses me off and makes my heart break for every true victim of SA, for Percy, and for his real friends and loved ones.
I hope that the people responsible face the consequences of their actions. And I finish with one final point. There is no justification in this world for spreading child p*rnography. None. There is no justification for falsely accusing an innocent person of vile crimes. None. Those involved should be ashamed of themselves.
I hope and pray that Percy is being taken care of, that heās ok and that he is able to return to some semblance of normalcy when it all dies down and the air clears. The reality is heāll be irrevocably changed by this. I just hope it doesnāt change him too much. I hope he emerges from this still kind, goofy and adorably weird. 10 Facts you NEED to know about the #CancelPercy allegations.
So, OBVIOUS trigger warning since this is a really sensitive topic, weāre talking about rape and sa allegations. Since the accusations against Percy came out, people have been calling for Percy to be jailed and even killed. Those reactions are somewhat understandable, as rape and SA are highly emotionally charged topics, and when you get highly emotional, logic and reason tend to fly out the window. Thereās also the fact that people donāt want to ever risk not believing a victim. However, itās been a few days and information has come out about both the accusations and the accusers. I think we really need to stop and just THINK logically about certain things.
Here are some important facts that I feel are being ignored by the Wednesday fandom:
1. None of the 3 main girls running the #CancelPercy hashtag (Aries, Kay, and Desiree) have actually accused Percy of raping them. This is important to remember because people are saying that these girls are speaking up against their rapist and saying āPercy is a rapist.ā But thatās not what they accused him of. The 3 main girls running #cancelpercy hashtag have accused him of sexually harassment, groping, being mean to them, and of guilt-by-association for having been friends with an abuser.
UPDATE: Kay as now come out and said that she is NOT a victim, but she has friends who are.
One of the girls, Desiree, accuses Percy of āLETTINGā her get raped. Iām really not sure how ālettingā someone get raped is a legitimate charge against him, unless he was just standing right there when it happened. But onto the next point:
2. Aries actually contradicted herself on what she says Percy did to her. In LESS than 24 hours it had changed from āhe groped/assaulted meā to āhe said VIAL (vile) things to meā and it was just her FRIENDS he did physical stuff to.
3. TWO of the girls who accused Percy of defending and protecting an abuser, have been called out and ADMITTED to defending and protecting an abuser themselves. Desiree, the girl who accused Percy of siding with rapists, admitted after being called out that she had defended and protected an abuser. In fact, she didnāt just defend an abuser, she actively BULLIED his victims and made their lives hell. Kay also got called out and admitted to defending + protecting an abuser but excuses herself because she is a āvictim.ā THESE are the people who are currently claiming the moral high ground and claiming to advocate for victims. I find it hypocritical that these girls are excusing themselves because they were āmanipulatedā but they make Percy out to be then villain because he wanted to āhear it from both sides.ā Also, guess who still follows a known rapist/abuser on Instagram? Itās NOT Percy but Kay the victim advocate herself. Update 23/01/23: It was NOT Kay but their close friend Karis who still followed Brycen the rapist. I mistakenly thought Kay and Karis were the same person because they have similar names + same personality. Karis has also been working very hard to cancel Percy and only JUST NOW unfollowed Brycen the rapist after being called out.
UPDATE 26/01/23: Proof that Karis is a dishonest, manipulative person who cannot be trusted. Sheās basically pissed off that Percy friend zoned her so sheās now vaguely claiming to be a āvictimā of Percy but never specifying what crime he actually committed. The link also contains receipts of her protecting the identity of an ACTUAL rapist. (The one she got called out for following).
4. Aries said that she NEVER sent anyone violent threats but was caught on Instagram doing exactly that.
5. Spreading around nude photos of someone online without their consent IS A CRIME. So there are these nude photos of Percy going viral which I am not going to post here because I think itās fucking disgusting to spread what basically amounts to REVENGE PORN of someone. Sharing intimate images of someone without their consent is a serious CRIME in Canada and every other developed country in the world and it has serious legal repercussions including FINES and JAIL TIME. Now itās said that he sent those photos to minors as an adult. We donāt really have proof of that other than someone SAYING it was sent to a gc full of minors. Percyās age at the time has been contested, but no matter what age he was it is NOT ok to leak nudes of someone. You also have to question the motives of someone who BRAGS about spreading nudes of someone. And also using the R slur, because they are such good people!
UPDATE 23/01/23: EVEN MORE nude photos from when Percy was a teenager have been leaked. People are victim-blaming Percy and using his nude photos as proof that he is a rapist. Interestingly enough, one of Percyās main accusers, Aries, also has nude photos from when she was a teenager that I KNOW she would not want leaked. But she laughs when it happens to Percy. Fucking hypocrite.
6. This is all fun and games for them.
At this point itās already been established that the main girls behind the #cancelpercy hashtag are guilty of bullying and silencing SA victims, of sending violent threats to people, of using the R slur in 2023, and of happily spreading around revenge porn. It is therefore not a stretch to think that they might take JOY in taking down another person, especially a person they may be jealous of. Those who defend Percyās accusers claim that they have absolutely NOTHING to gain from making these accusations. I disagree. They are gaining clout and followers from this. Aries and Kay have also made it clear that this is all big FUN for them as they spread around his nudes and demand memes of him in jail. If I was a lawyer looking at how these girls are behaving on social media, it would NOT be looking good for them at all.
7. Aries said she couldnāt watch Wednesday because of Percy being in it. However she tweeted about watching the show when it first released, and her main complaint about the show had absolutely NOTHING to do with Percy.
8. MANY inconsistencies and flat-out falsehoods in the allegations have been pointed out in this Twitter thread.
9. Not every sexual misconduct allegation against a famous person turns out to be true.
This may sound cold and blunt but itās literally a fact. Percy isnāt the first celeb to get accused of shit and heās not going to be the last. Hereās a list of celebrities who have been falsely accused of being sex pests in recent years. Melanie Martinez should also be on this list. I remember a few years ago when everyone cancelled Melanie Martinez because of rape allegations made by her former friend, her fans made videos of themselves burning her merch, and then it turned out to be bullshit.
Itās really unfortunate, but we live in a world of clout chasing and cancel culture. Thatās why itās good sometimes to be skeptical towards allegations made online. Iām not saying you should automatically disbelieve people who accuse celebrities, but rather, take it with a grain of salt. Wait for more information to come out before you pull out your pitchforks. Use your brain.
10. The EVIDENCE against Percy is SKETCHY AS FUCK.
Like Iām sorry, but it is. In fact calling it āevidenceā is being generous because the evidence is basically non-existent.
First of all most of the āproofā is literally just allegations made with text messages (which, I will point out, are easy to fake to begin with, there are tutorials all over tik tok and YouTube about how to create fake messages.)
For example they are claiming that Percy raped a 14-year-old girl which is obviously a SERIOUS goddamn crime and their so-called āPROOFā is these text messages that could have been written by literally ANYONE, saying āwe fucked.ā Thatās it. That is not PROOF, that is a story told by an anonymous, faceless rando.
Percyās silence is also NOT proof of guilt. Literally any good LAWYER would tell him to be quiet in a case like this, as anything you say could be used against you in the case. They also are most likely gathering the evidence and letting the girls keep talking so they can discredit themselves even more. Also, if Percy DID make a statement, the same people would also use THAT as evidence that heās guilty as well, because theyād accuse him of trying to do damage control. I really believe Percy is in a damned if you do, damned if you donāt situation.
People have also been really weird about their āproofā as well, like, claiming theyāre too scared to share all the proof but also begging people to spread it around. Also, people have manipulated pictures to make it look like Percy has held this girl on his lap against her will. Just really weird, stupid stuff.
Itās also a reliable constant that Aries and Kay have soooo many allegations but never any evidence.
Iāve seen people use this as proof of a rape confession and Iām likeā¦ NO THE FUCK IT ISNāT??? First of all if this message is even realā¦ You canāt even see the whole context of the conversation here but it sounds like it could be about cheating rather than rape. We already know Karis (the one who provided the SS) is untrustworthy because she continued to follow a known rapist Brycen on instagram and only unfollowed him AFTER accusing Percy when people called her out for it. So I'm definitely not gonna take her word for it.
Also, receipts of Percy being problematic are NOT proof of him being a rapist.
You would think this was self-evident but apparently itās not. Ok first of all, I DO NOT CARE if you want to hate this man because of a problematic tik tok from 3 years ago or whatever. That is YOUR prerogative. Iām not trying to make anyone like him. My focus is on the sex crime allegations. I just think itās both unfair and immoral to label someone as a rapist and go in a witch hunt with no real evidence. Iāve seen people say that it doesnāt matter if the allegations against Percy are false bc they still hate him for being problematic. But it DOES matter?? Contrary to popular opinion on the internet, innocent until proven guilty DOES still matter and itās the reason we donāt live in a tyranny, getting our hands chopped off for crimes we didnāt commit. I am not saying this because Iām a āsimpā for Percy (as someone else has called me) nor do I want to have sex with him. I made this post because I care about the truth and I care about justice. I am also against online cancel mobs that care more about going on a witch hunt than looking at the actual facts.

Iāve been reading about the current drama regarding Percy and Iād like to point some things out. More like share the reasons why I think these accusations are fake. Iām sorry if this is a bit long but Iāll try to be as specific as possible with my thoughts.
1. THE TIMING: I understand that in some cases it takes the victims some time to actually report the abuse they suffered due to the trauma and fear of their abusers finding out, but the timing is extremely odd. If this happened a year or two ago, why did they wait so long? More specifically (this will sound rude), why did they wait for him to be trending in order to make these accusations?
Also, someone whoās going to accuse a celebrity or someone known of doing something, knows that there is going to be backlash, and a lot of it. They know that there is a big possibility that people are going to be coming at them or stalking them in order to uncover something else, which is why they try to avoid the attention, but in this case, it seems like this girl is loving and seeking the attention. A friend of mine was SA by someone really known (and loved) in town, so she made her report anonymously. Only the cops and lawyers are the ones who know who the victim is, as well as my two other friends, no one else, because she wanted to avoid all of that. So again, it doesnāt make sense to me.
2. THE PLATFORM: Twitter, really? Why not go to the police? Iām really sorry, but if youāre a victim of abuse, robbery, or anything that attempts against your integrity, you go to the police instead of talking about it on Twitter. What will Twitter do? Charge the assaulter? Definitely not.
Spreading this information on Twitter is screaming āI need attentionā imo, and the fact that these girls, more specifically the milkievich one, keeps reposting everything she sees about him, laughing and literally fighting people because they donāt believe her, says more than enough. Even if this happened a year ago or whatever, itās still and will always be a sensitive topic, so her actions just show how hungry and needy she is for clout.

3. THE āSCREENSHOTSā AND SCREEN RECORDINGS: In those screenshots in which he allegedly is posing naked, the man in there looks similar to him, but at the same time really different to the point in which you doubt if itās really him. The convo screenshots, really easy to fake.
With the Instagram screen recordings, let me tell you something, you can fake them and itās really easy to do so. I know it for a fact because I did it for a uni project. Nothing creepy, just pretending my friends and I are in a group with letās say Kylie Jenner and sheās telling us to stop judging our bodies, and because sheās trendy, we stop doing it. When I tell you itās really easy, all you need is Capcut, someone to change their name and profile to the celebrityās name, and a really good pulse. Yes, you can even fake the whole sliding back into the group chat while showing the profile shit.
Last but not least, I find it unbelievable that people that have actually come forward defending him, are getting called liars. It goes both ways you know? And weāve only heard one side of the story, conveniently a side of the story in which theyāre demonizing him without solid proof besides random Instagram āscreenshotsā.
I hope the truth comes out soon, because itās unfair that heās being trashed just because people decided to believe someone who instead of going to the police to report the abuse she allegedly was a victim of, spread it on Twitter and has now made it her whole personality and account aesthetic.
