I have a little headcanon with Dyle being mechanic, but not entirely. Mostly the exterior of his body is metal, whilst inside there are few organs intertwining with his mechanical systems like a twisted puzzle of flesh and steel. He originally was not meant to have these more organic features and remain machine, but she decided otherwise and wanted to experiment during his creation just for knowledge. He contains only half of the natural digestive track, a form of brain, respiratory system, and a form of cardiovascular system.

He encounters struggles internally with these traits mainly being sores, stings, or pinches in his body. They have also impacted rust reportedly, though that issue cannot entirely be fixed. The rusted parts would simply have to be replaced unless they are fatal pieces to himself upon removal.

Within my AU he has not gotten proper repair in years. His body is at a constant struggle, and the damage he inflicts onto himself definitely worsens it. It's not only cuts he's done.

Are people not allowed to find him attractive at all?/gen

Personally I’m very dedicated to his character and have a deep interest in his lore and personality. I also find him kinda hot. Does any level of attraction apply?

In my experience I have seen few people who only enjoy him sexualised, maybe one or two accounts that were pretty easy to block. I’ve found a majority of the time people who are “gooners” for him are also true dedicated fans that appreciate the depth of his character, they just happen to also think he’s at least a bit attractive. It makes me curious where this disgust is coming from, especially considering I’ve seen far far worse from much larger gooner fan bases of other characters.

Again this is genuine and I mean no harm, and I’m not trying to be rude. There’s a likelihood I’m over thinking it because of my autism, making me want to know if I’m allowed to like your posts or not (because I really did enjoy your art and headcannons). I’d just appreciate a further explanation or clarification. If it’s for everyone that finds him hot at all, alright. If it’s not, it feels rather harsh to tell everyone to fuck off and that you find them disgusting without specifying it better.

I hope you understand where I’m coming from an my intentions, also this might of sent twice I was struggling to get the ask to go through. 😅

And to answer your question, by DNI I guess I should have clarified better, as I more implied commentary towards on my posts.

Dyle is a character I have grown extremely sentimentally attached to, but not to the degree I gatekeep him fortunately. It's more so to the degree I kin or feel maternal over the character. I myself am triggered or easily disgusted with sexual forms of content due to personal issues I have had in the past with the topic. I am in no means to tell others to not find him attractive, as that is completely okay an allowed! All I ask is that I do not recieve sexual related commentary towards me, and to respect my boundaries on that.

With my harshness on the "fuck off", I felt the need to be harsh as people have sexualized my art on other medias do not stop with sexual commentary when I ask them to politely not to. This resulted in me feeling the need to come off as displeasing or not someone you'd typically want to interact with due to the constant ignorance to my requests. I apologize if it came off mean, but that was kind of the intent to stay safe.

I completely understand you and worry not, though I do hope you understand my perspective on the matter. Unfortunately I'm rather sensitive to the topic despite my age, and I feel somewhat ashamed since I can't interact with too many people of my similar interests because of that.

Commentary like, "he's beautiful" or "he's my husband I love him" are completely fine! It's commentary such as "I'd fuck him" "what noises does he make in bed" etc I do not appreciate.

You are free to find him attractive etc upon viewing my content alongside interact with me, I just ask you keep sexual commentary to yourself is all. I deeply appreciate you asking this, I really did not the greatest job properly describing as to why. I'll do better with my words.

This is a sneak peak to his design in my au, though he's more stylized to appear more human here rather than being more toon-like in the comic.

I wish people paid more attention to his lore, and all the symbolism attached to him.

Like how snakes are usually very isolated or non social creatures, making his twisted form a perfect representation for his issues. perhaps that's part to why he doesn't have a liking towards snakes, as they reflect his own insecurities. Unfortunately I relate to him lots.

( If you're curious about his arms, it is an action to feel something as his body is completely numb on the outside due to my hc of him being more machine like. It's both an unhealthy distraction and desperation to feel like the other toons. The marks are scattered across his whole body mostly from his own claws when undergoing a twisted state. This is a headcanon in itself ofc. )
