I wish people paid more attention to his lore, and all the symbolism attached to him.

Like how snakes are usually very isolated or non social creatures, making his twisted form a perfect representation for his issues. perhaps that's part to why he doesn't have a liking towards snakes, as they reflect his own insecurities. Unfortunately I relate to him lots.

( If you're curious about his arms, it is an action to feel something as his body is completely numb on the outside due to my hc of him being more machine like. It's both an unhealthy distraction and desperation to feel like the other toons. The marks are scattered across his whole body mostly from his own claws when undergoing a twisted state. This is a headcanon in itself ofc. )

I have a little headcanon with Dyle being mechanic, but not entirely. Mostly the exterior of his body is metal, whilst inside there are few organs intertwining with his mechanical systems like a twisted puzzle of flesh and steel. He originally was not meant to have these more organic features and remain machine, but she decided otherwise and wanted to experiment during his creation just for knowledge. He contains only half of the natural digestive track, a form of brain, respiratory system, and a form of cardiovascular system.

He encounters struggles internally with these traits mainly being sores, stings, or pinches in his body. They have also impacted rust reportedly, though that issue cannot entirely be fixed. The rusted parts would simply have to be replaced unless they are fatal pieces to himself upon removal.

Within my AU he has not gotten proper repair in years. His body is at a constant struggle, and the damage he inflicts onto himself definitely worsens it. It's not only cuts he's done.
