A strong, muscular, well-grown warrior, Dusty Path is one of the more important warriors of the Neytek people. He is a strong hunter, and wears a male lion’s skin (he killed the lion). Very strong, when he is not acting as a warrior or sentry he is hauling logs to be split fo firewood. His body is well used, looking slightly ragged. He is mated to Sweet Flower, and is completely wrapped around her little finger.
Fierce Demon’s name comes from a fight he won as an adolescent hunter. While he was gathering snares for rabbits, a fire-breathing Ikran drake came from above and caught him in its talons. Lifted off the ground, Fierce Demon fought to free himself, and eventually he fell back to Earth. He broke a leg in the fall, but it healed without incident. Now scarred from fire and widened from the experience, Fierce Demon is a tough fighter with an ikran pelt, instead of a lion’s skin, on his back. Fierce Demon is highly sought after by the village femmes, but he is bound to help his mother through her time of growing-older, as she was injured during the Great Battle of the Plains and requires near-constant attention.
Mother to Fierce Demon, Shadowed Creek has led a tough life. Born a few years before the Great Battle of the Plains, she was funneled into the function of a warrior, where against her will she learned how to fight and kill. She was injured greatly during the war, receiving a near-mortal wound to her stomach. This wound never healed correctly, so she has trouble walking and digesting certain foods. Her son, Fierce Demon, is more than willing to help her, and he is by her side day and night. A gentle spirit, Shadowed Creek enjoys watching the village children play.
Born on Semiramis, Blown Leaves remembers autumn, when the leaves fell in bright colors. Mated to Cold Woods, she is a strong warrior; she was required to fight during the Great Battle of the Plains, an ongoing ‘war’ that has lasted most of her life. The past couple decades have been peaceful, and she has been free to branch out with motherhood, taking care of her two son, Blue Tree.
From the same era as Rough Stone and Broken Ground, Burning Sun remembers life without water. He always ensures that his family has plenty to drink, and he has personally overseen the installation of more wells around the village. A caring, but stern father, he provides a guiding hand for his son and daughter. Burning Sun has the markings of burns down his back and sides, from when he was left out in the sun as an infant and developed deep sunburns.
Father to Blue Tree and mate to Blown Leaves, Cold Woods has high expectations of his son. With the Great Battle of the Plains now long past, many of the village’s young mechs do not believe a strong fighting warrior group is needed, so many are becoming hunter- gatherers. Cold Woods had hoped for Blue Tree to become a warrior, but when his son decided to become a gatherer, Cold Woods became even colder in demeanor. Always a stern mech, Cold Woods lives his life directing others to do as they are told. He and Blown Leaves were born upon Semiramis, where the Neytek sent the femmes and many healers during the Great Battle of the Plains.
Roaring Wind is a strong warrior, and performs most of the behind-the-scenes work of the warrior group. He ensures that all weapons are repaired and that all of the other warriors have enough supplies to last through a battle or an expedition into the Savannah.
Flowing Water is Rain Dancer’s best friend. They have played together since birth, and as Flowing Water grew up he developed stronger feelings for her. When Rain Dancer went away to train to become an Ambassador she met several new Mecha. Flowing Water refuses to believe that she might not actually love her back, and he strives to impress her with gifts and his ample talents with hunting. The ideal mech, Flowing Water is handsome, strong, and very talented with numerous weapons.
White Rain was born during the monsoon season, and learned all of his skills from his father before his father died in a fight with another tribe. White Rain is somewhat interested in finding a mate, and he looks through the bush when he ventures out as protection in a hunting party.
A fiery-spirited, brave warrior, Falling Fire is a master of spears and bows alike. When he is not out sparring with his twin sister, Blazing Rain, he is tinkering with how weapons are made - he has a prototype crossbow in the makings, which shoots thick, stocky arrows.
Twin to Falling Fire, Blazing Rain is excellent with spears and bows, just like her brother. Falling Fire is training her to use the crossbow, and she suggests edits to its design. Falling Fire and Blazing Rain together help train the up and coming warriors. They have never thought of splitting up and mating, and it is rumored that they have mated in secret.
Growing up in the same time as Broken Ground, Rough Stone is harsh in his ways when he is alone, but with people he is a gruff kind of happy. The second of Storm Bringer’s personal guards, he helps to keep Broken Ground in place. Rough Stone desperately searches for a mate, but none of the village femmes seem very interesting to him.
Coming from the era of Storm Bringer’s father, Fierce Dog was a mighty warrior in his time. He was in the Great Battle of the Plains, and was injured in the fighting. Missing half of his left arm (mid-bicep down) and the side of his face (left), he looks quite frightening - but he is one of the friendliest, humorous mechs, and he loves to tell jokes and stories to the village children. His mate was killed in a village raid; he killed and ate the attacker, then hung the attacker’s hide in his hut.
An older, gentle mech, Grey Fog is an excellent scout, light and fast on his hooves. Good with a spear and a bow, he is a reliable mech with many acquaintances, yet few friends. Newly mated to Golden Wind, he is patient with her trials and errors, and he loves her deeply. Long of leg, he towers over most Mecha in the village.
A contemplative mech, Deep Water is a thinker. He wonders about the universe, existential questions and the reason why the Titans (Mecha) are here. A strong swimmer, he is also strong enough to wrestle crocodiles and win. He is also one of the only Mecha from the village to see an elephant herd up close.
A rough-mannered mech, Broken Ground lives to work and kill. Born at a time of great drought, he grew up in a rough, otherworldly time. Slightly older than Storm Bringer, he can remember the previous chief. Broken Ground does not like to bend to authority, doing so only under pressure or if his chief orders him directly. Broken Ground is a solitary bachelor.
A sculptor in his old age, Red Clay is a friendly mech who sculpts toys for the village children out of clay. Red Clay has a Bumblebee back right leg, which he has bound up against his side. Red Clay’s mate died in a village raid long ago, and he visits her graveside often with fresh flowers.
A slender mech, Split Tree is an adequate warrior, and an all around quiet mech. He makes bows for the mechs still in training, and helps teach them to shoot. Cautious around water from a bad run in with the river as a young person, he lives on the very edge of the village, furthest away from the river’s edge as possible. Mated to Cool Evening, they are trying for children. Biologically, he has a “dry spark”, AKA no innermost energon, and is naturally sterile.
A strong, stocky warrior, Strong Heart is strongly guided by a strong set of morals and Neytek traditions. One of the personal guards for Storm Bringer during battle, he is always polishing his weapons or carving a new bow shaft. Strong Heart considers himself an open bachelor, and is always looking for the “perfect mate”.
