- Book 3 was more enjoyable than the second one.

- The most enjoyable arc for me so far has been the girls in Tar Valon. I love reading from their POV. Egwene’s character arc has been interesting to follow, but I do feel Nynaeve hasn’t grown as much yet.

- Idk why we get random chapters from the Children of the Light. It is so extremely boring.

- I did not expect to like Perrin’s character and his arc this much. Additionally, so far, not that there’s much to go against, him and Faile have had the most chemistry.

- Its starting to annoy me that they still have so much resistance to trusting Moiraine. Is she being a bit shady ? Absolutely. However, she has also kept everyone alive more or less.

- Speaking of annoying things, every time we enter a Mat POV I roll my eyes. That’s all I want to say about him.

- Loial <3

- I love Egwene so much as a character, and also I feel the ter-angreal or wtv is leaching off of her ngl.

- Lan and Nynaeve continue to be stuck where they each were respectively in their arcs.

- I used to like Rand, however, I feel the story esp in Book 3 has set him up to be this Chosen One legacy and therefore limited his POV for us to feel that effect and distance from him as well. Like when Perrin and Mat think about him changing, I can feel it too now by the end of The Dragon Reborn.

ok so there needed to be at least two more nynaeve and lan scenes because when rand was overhearing them i was just as gagged and shocked as him. they had a bit of buildup but like it went from 3 to 450 in a second.

moiraine keeps saving them and then the three idiots go like i know she just did all this HOWEVER- . i get it but also like …..

i liked the rand and mat chapters. i was invested okay sue me. also the dagger literally poisoning mat but him still fighting back that long was crazy. he needs to stop doing dumb shit tho idk how long i can defend this nonsense.

i think egwene is going to be an aes sedai and perrin might become her warder. i might be completely wrong but i needed to put thus out there. cuz being real no way its rand. also im glad egwene and rand arent going to end up together allegedly. it was giving nothing.

also i liked nynaeve moiraine and egwene a lot. they felt like actual people. nowadays a lot if stories have female characters fleshed out in such a way that the main focus is on them being a girl and being able to do all this. these three felt like they were written the same as everyone else. i hope i worded this fine.

idk why egwene lowkey was mad abt rand being invested in another girl after her and the whole tinker boy thing. i dont mind her being interested in other people but i felt she shouldnt be mad abt rand doing that as well. however it could be that it was never that serious and we are in perrins piv and hes seeing it like that so idk.
