Kars fanart

I finally got this gorgeous bastard done! Was inspired by the scarce pieces of Kars' backstory, which led to look a bit into Aztec art and mythology and draw some curious analogies with Tezcatlipoca - the god of war, night sky, life and death, sorcery and tricks. A very intriguing deity, also a shapeshifting one.

Anyway, Kars' character (what's on the surface, at least) is far less complex, but I like to imagine that as ancient people were described to treat his race as gods and demons, they would see him in a similar way. Which is potentially a source of awesome headcanons.

PS: the funky statue from that single backstory shot, as well as Esidisi's momentary shape change right before his defeat suggest that Kars could do similar stuff to himself, hence multiple horns and those ass face blades lol
