May have bits of mischaracterization because I am not the most into tadc

theme: things angel has said!! (caine ver) or just maybe things i would say that caine would also say

ex of what i'm thinking but way more serious,

“Insert phrase” Caine said blah blh blah, abstradgedy crack blah blah blah “i'm gay and european!”

??? hahahaha

I wonder how many people understand that these are two separate things happening in different times. One is Caine coming more and more into existence and discovering the obsolete unused brain scans, and the other is Caine gaining access to the random WiFi hotspot that just appeared temporarily (as they often do) nearby. They’re both moments of self discovery which is why we cut back and forth between them, but they are undoubtedly not happening at the same time.

For good reason, we're talking a lot about Jax, but I wanna analyze this scene with Caine for a second. His scene is very symbolic, and I think when he connected to the internet here, the scene of him almost walking through the door shows that he had a chance to leave. Caine could have escaped the computer and gone into the internet, but he hesitates at that door, and then stops and just stands at the barrier and decides to search everyone's names.

I think this is silent bit is Caine considering leaving, but then he decides that he can't until he's made things right. Instead of running away, he's going to go back and do what he can to fix things, even if it means they hate him. Even if it means he has to change.
