I had a sudden epiphany on Monday, the eve of my 28th birthday, solidly in my late twenties.

you know what line from Shakespeare makes me go feral. that one line that’s like “I will live in thy heart, die in thy lap, and be buried in thy eyes (and also I will go with thee to thy Uncle)” from Much Ado About Nothing because like. that line is objectively really funny because Beatrice is just talking about going with Benedick to have a conversation with her uncle and he’s. being an overdramatic bitch again. but the other thing is that. that line is so unbearably tender. imagine you ask someone to go with you to your uncle’s and they seriously tell you not only do they want to do that but they also want to die in your lap and be buried in your eyes, sort of in a joking tone but also completely meaning it. i cant think about that too long or ill absolutely go insane

You know when something not especially funny happens but it just tickles you and then you just can't stop?
Case in point: 5 years ago, my sister and I and one of our friends went sea kayaking while we were in New Zealand. As we got back to shore, my sister got up to get out of the kayak, one foot in and one foot out, when the shore break slammed into the back of the kayak, and she fell over fully clothed into the sea.
I nearly peed myself laughing.
And every time I've thought of it since, I've got uncontrollable giggles.
Ok, reminiscing aside, I've stumbled across the embarrassing teenage blog of someone (who I'm going to call a 'tv personality') now in their mid-twenties and I can't stop laughing. (There's not much on it, but it just won't stop)

2 Infants Were Buried Wearing Helmets Made from Kids' Skulls. And Archaeologists Are Puzzled
Two infants were buried some 2,100 years ago wearing “helmets” made from the skulls of other children, archaeologists have discovered.
The remains of the two infants were found with nine other burials at a site called Salango, on the coast of central Ecuador. The archaeologists who excavated the burials between 2014 and 2016 recently published the details of their findings in the journal Latin American Antiquity.
The team says this is the only known case in which children’s skulls were used as helmets for infants being buried. The scientists don’t know what killed the infants and children.
The helmets were placed tightly over the infants’ heads, the archaeologists found. It’s likely that the older children’s skulls still had flesh on them when they were turned into helmets, because without flesh, the helmets likely would not have held together, the archaeologists noted.
One infant’s “face looked through and out of the cranial vault” — the space in the skull that holds the brain — the archaeologists wrote. Read more.
