Married Yaas headcannons???
(I've always seen them as the type to get married after only like a year of dating, which makes Hollanov very very jealous, but despite all the talk online saying it's a bad idea/they're gonna get divorced, they are actually really good together, even if/when one of them gets traded to another team.)
Oh they 100% get married young. In my au they get engaged after like two years of dating, mainly cause they didn’t announce (see, accidentally hard launched) their relationship until like their second year together, and then they speed run that shit, and then they’d be the most stupidly in love domestic couple ever. In this essay I shall:
Young lives to be a little shit and steal Luca’s side of the bed
They’d 100% get eloped cause they couldn’t wait until their actual wedding and then just show up to practice one day with their matching rings and Ilya is like ‘what the FUCK’. They do have their wedding later on (it’s basically just like the team and their families, it’s pretty small) but they were just too eager to be legal husbands
When they started dating (and lowkey before that even) they already bickered like an old married couple, like bickering over who lost the remote or which pasta shape to get, and so when they actually get married they’re like insufferable levels of ‘it’s YOUR turn to load the dishwasher’ ‘every time I load it you get mad and redo it’ ‘cause you do it WRONG’… yeah the team gets kinda sick of it real quick lol (also yes there is a correct way and wrong way to load a dishwasher)
Luca loves to spoil the shit out of Young. He’ll do the grocery shopping and then surprise Young with all the stuff to make his favourite Korean comfort dishes for when he’s feeling down, he’ll buy him little plushies that remind him of Young, and god forbid if/when one of them gets traded (realistically Young probably would be traded later on but I’m in denial) every week he has a bouquet of flowers delivered with sweet love notes reminding him that he’s an amazing person and that he’s loved
Aggressively affectionate cuddles, like they both (mainly Young) will bully his way into the other’s space and then let out THE most dramatic sigh imaginable now that he has his cuddles
For their honeymoon they spend half their trip in South Korea where Young gets to show Luca where his mom grew up and the places he visited as a kid before his dad made them stop visiting, and Luca gets to show Young the rink he grew up playing at and his childhood home and then impulsively spend an extra week to travel to Italy, because why not
Once they get married they do like a ‘newly wed game’ face off with Hollanov where they see who knows their partners better like as a team. Obviously this gets very competitive, and Young and Ilya end up (playfully) arguing afterwards about who knows their husband better, because Ilya technically got one more answer right but Young was way faster and could basically speak Luca’s mind
Young turns into Luca’s personal model as he grows his passion for sewing and knitting and such, and in turn Luca is the subject to all of Young’s experimental recipes (they are good thank you very much) and they just always support eachother and like yeah this should be the standard, but idk these two would be so extra and sweet
One of their favourite ways to take care of the other is helping the other get ready for bed at the end of a tough day. Young loves to wash Luca’s hair for him cause Luca always complains about how much work his curls are, and Luca always helps massage the muscles in Young’s back that still bother him from a past injury, and they just are so sweetly domestic and sappy beyond their years
They already have one cat, Gravy, but by the time they’re married they have another that’s a calico named CK, short for Cheesy Keyboard. There’s stream lore behind that one. Anyways they’re planning on getting a dog once they move into their own house, and Luca swears he’s gonna be naming that one
Speaking of house they still share an apartment with the other rooks. They planned to move out after they got engaged, especially since LP was talking about wanting to move in with his girlfriend, but like yk they kinda got engaged, adopted another fur baby, got eloped, won a cup and then threw a wedding all within like, half a year, so you know they were kinda busy. BUT when they do move out it’ll be halfway out of the city but not fully in the country, and be a really cozy rustic tudor style house that Luca will insist on decorating himself and it will have enough space for their pets (because yes their animals get their own room), their streaming stuff, a home gym, a little library, and rooms for future kids
Yes kids, these two would be such good dads it would be so sweet. They’d raise the most polite yet no bs kids ever. I feel like they’d would go the surrogacy route, and I imagine they’d have like 3 or 4 kids. Luca loved having lots of siblings and Young loves the ideas of lots of kids, so it works. They’d probably have their first kid around age 27, and their last around 34 or so, so not like super young parents but they’d defiantly still kinda be in the highest parts of their careers
Their kids would have normal names, don’t worry. Young only gives his animals deeply stupid names
I feel like I say this every time, for every HR couple, but they are GIRL DADS. Realistically I see them either having like 2 girls/1 boy or like 2 girls/2 boys, but you best believe those girls are raised to not take no bs from men, and those boys are raised to treat women with the utmost respect
Some of these are entirely self indulgent, and some of these may not be the most creative, but shush
