Hi, My name was Nekhem/Nekhimiel. I was a cherub, and I presided over probability/potential outcomes (although I wasn't the only one). I looked pretty plain, male, shortish curly tan hair, smallish white wings, but I had gold tear-track markings and gold eyes. I also wore a bell tied around my neck. I sustained an injury somewhat later in life, and after that, my eyes were black and my wings were no longer solid white. I never fell, but was sent here to learn more about humans. I'm @majidemah.
First, salt: I have issues with the whole idea of the angelic hierarchy, including the idea of cherubim. I’ve had a rant [here].
Secondary (and not particularly important) salt: There are so many descriptions of angels that are incredibly human. I miss hearing about non-Euclidian horrors.
Non-salt: You sound interesting. Hope you can find someone who remembers you.

Actually - I’ve read your rant and agree with it (actually like a lot of your essays), I latched onto the idea early on because of the big fuss many folk make about it. This is part of an earlier thing I wrote and didn’t remember to edit that part out. Ehe, my bad. Also, I probably had another less human form but since I was with them so often the more human form is what I remember (the only thing I remember about the other form is lots of eyes, the ability to see outside my form, and feathers everywhere). But yeah where are they at??

so, what is the difference between this blog and other call blogs? sorry i didn't really get what the "uwu aesthetic" means.
When we talk about the “aesthetic” (with or without the “uwu”), we’re talking about the very specific aesthetics that plenty of call blogs have gotten lost in, along with the overvalidation culture that runs rampant in the Tumblr side of the community.
On the one side, you have all the things revolving around clouds, light, gold, white (because white is pure, right? [/sarcasm]), rose water (for whatever reason), quotes about missing having wings, or flying, or “God”… Typical fluffy angel stuff.
On the other side, you have the 3edgy5me parts, with the focus on blood, blades, fire, quotes about hating “God”, talking about the apocalypse like it’s gonna be tomorrow… Basic edgy fallen angel/demon stuff.
We both make a strong effort to avoid that kind of thing. We’re here to just help people connect to others, without getting caught up in all the rest of it. We’re also willing to tell people that they’re probably mistaken about their interpretation of themselves (like us both being firmly against the idea of an angelic hierarchy). Sure, there will probably be some less than nice bits thrown in, but at the end of the day, it might be something we could use.
Seriously, though, I still have no idea what the hell is going on with all the rose water. It makes no gorram sense to me.

I just want to say hi! A blog like this is kind of a breath of fresh air, the idea is nice and a more serious aproach to it is what would influence the community to take things more seriously and help people in a positive and mature way. Great work, i wish you have a nice day đź’•

A Brief Apology
Things have been incredibly quiet here for a while, and I figure I’m overdue to say something about.
Nothing terrible has been going on. A few days after we got this blog set up and ready to go, both of us got rather sick, and we’re only now getting over things. Wasn’t anything particularly serious, but we were focused more on trying to recover than anything else.
Unless things decide to come back for round two, we should be able to get back to things within the next few days, and we’ll get through the various things currently filling our inbox.

Sorry but what’s a call blog?
Call blogs are, essentially, a way for members of a given community (in this case, the angel/demon/divine/etc. community) to find each other through sharing memories and details about oneself. The hope is that by putting things out in the open, someone might recognize things, which can facilitate communication with people with similar experiences, along with a way to hopefully dive into shared memories with others.
The downside to this open arrangement is that it’s prone to having people mucking up the process by talking about things they aren’t sure of, or which they’ve falsified for whatever reason. When things like that are posted on reflex, it tends to drag down the quality of the call blog overall, which can reflect poorly on the community as a whole. We’re hoping that, by taking things as seriously as we can and vetting posts a bit, we can hold ourselves to a higher standard, and offer the best call blog we can.
Thus, “a call blog without the uwu or aesthetics.” There’s a time and a place for those things, but this isn’t one of them. We just want to help people make connections and find each other, without other things getting in the way.

An Introduction
Hi, I’m Mal, and this is Angel Radar, a call blog without the fluff and aesthetics everywhere.
After seeing tons of call blogs out there that do little to no vetting on incoming message, we decided we should take matters into our own hands (as much as we can) and start up a call blog that aims to take things seriously.
Our ask box is open, and submissions are available if you have too much to say for a single ask. We currently have two mods and plenty of time between us, so we should be able to handle things at a decent pace.
