the craigmarco bait was actually really insidious like god forbid marco has a love interest that isn't boring as shit and craig has something interesting to do

some of the greatest posts ever put on this site are borderline unfindable

and craig and manny had that years long will they won't they on again off again awful relationship when they would have been so much happier queening out together...

i kinda love that degrassi lets craig's terrible life make him a deeply frustrating freak, rather than a classic broody bad boy like sean or something. the first time we see him he's taking photos of two random girls from a distance (we don't know that angie is his sister), and later on in the episode he's making his 'perfect family' collage, pasting pictures of himself onto candids he's taken in secret of his step dad and sister so he can pretend he's a part of their family and it's weirdddd. it's deeply sympathetic but kinda hard to watch it's great. degrassi dgaf about that whole 'all that pain and all it made her is kind' or whatever the quote is let's make craig cheat on every girlfriend and become a coke addict let's make him bipolar 😝 let's make him dress up like his evil abusive dad and reenact his abuse via performing a scene from taming of the shrew with his crush :D but then at some point they forgot to make him interesting. sad.
