#turn british residential areas into lord of the flies idc i thought everyone wanted that 1970s childhood back #it actually is kind of unfair that we're taking away the internet from them and they can't even get served in a pub anymore #my dad and his friends would go to the pub at lunch when they were like 15 #it's so evil and stupid though. why not ban social media for the over 55's? they love getting radicalised and voting about it #you really can trace this back to the way the media reported/government responded to brianna ghey's death #like it does go back to transphobia and the government refusing to acknowledge it as a problem and instead #weaponising a girl's murder to fearmonger about technology when social media is not relevant to her murder #i feel bad for her mum but the way brianna's eating disorder is treated like a major moral failing/personality flaw #and something she got from the internet #which is probably true to an extent but also she was a teenage girl trying to exist in this evil misogynistic society #who was suffering bc of transmisogyny #and who we know was very isolated in real life but had a great online support system of other trans girls #she probably transitioned because of the resources and support she found online #which has nothing to do with this internet ban at all ofc. nothing to do with trans people or palestine or anything like that #so yeah kids get rowdy.#also man ive barely been on here for weeks hiiii everybody miss u #anewbrainjughead
