Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of issues with Western academia. But I do find it really enlightening that people get mad at their kids for essentially thinking too much. Basically telling on themselves.

Also everyone hates the arts + humanities - cause it's a really effective way to discover how fucked everything is.

It doesn't matter if you committed a crime or not, all they have to do is say you did, you have no way of presenting evidence to say you didn't. If being accused of a crime is what eliminates your ability to prove that you haven't committed a crime, an accusation is all it takes.

It doesn't matter if you are a citizen, all they have to is say you aren't one. How can you prove your a citizen with no hearing? No evidence can be presented. "Oh I'll just present my documents" (leaving aside that "papers please" is classic fascism), they can just say your documents are fake and you have no way to disprove them wrong if suspected non-citizens have no right to due process.

And how will citizen even be defined moving forward? They're already trying to eliminate birthright citizenship (again, something explicitly spelled out in the Constitution), therefore the concept of citizenship can be changed at any second on any whim. Citizenship could mean someone who is born in a country. It could mean having to prove every relative going back a certain number of generations were citizens. It could mean only people who agree with a certain ideology, only those who kiss the king's ring.

Their current push to say any trans person is committing identity fraud? Well, that means none of your ID documents are valid, you can't prove you're a citizen, time to go to El Salvador.

Did you participate in an anti-Teala protest? The AG is trying to define that as domestic terrorism, and now "terrorists" have no due process, go straight to the camps.

Did you look funny at a Gestapo ICE Agent? That's a criminal threat to a law enforcement officer, and criminals get no due process, see you in Guantanamo.
