Only looking for something intresting

Over a decade ago in Loma de los muertos("Dead's hill" I think), earthworks discovered an ancient cemetery. One of the graves was unique, because it contained remains of Dusicyon Avus an extinct wolf or fox.

Animal remains are not that uncommon in human graves, usually as an offering for gods or status symbol of the dead( for example cat mummies or lifestock sacrifice). However, this one was buried in a separate grave, without any traces of disturbing the body. This indicates the fox's status equal to that of human, so it was propably taken as pet by hunter-garterers from region.

What is interesting is that the culture of the native inhabitants of the region puts people and animals as almost equal. This certainly contributed to the recognition of this fox as part of society/family.

Sand, or rather phosphate sand!

As it turns out Amazon is constantly fertilized by dust from Sahara. Most of which is from Morocco and contains high ammount of Phosphorus, which is scarce in soil from Amazon.

During year sand particles are carried away by wind and across Atlantic Ocean, where they land with rain, every year Amazon forest receive from 8mln to 48mln tones(1000kg)! Of which from 6000-37000tons is pure Phosphorus, as sand comes from regions rich in Phosphorus ore, important export of Marocco, Libya, Algiers and Mali.

This is important element for plant growth and seed creation. Animals also need fair amounts because it is essential for cell functioning and bone structure. It takes 1% of your body mass.

I love the Hansa, just imagine that ammount of cooperation! Over 200 cities from all of north half of Europe, from half dozen cultures and many external rulers(Kings, Princes, Duces) just supporting eachother in assuring safe of trade routes.

At height of power Hansa have trade posts from London and Bordeaux, through Bergen and Venice, to Novgorod. Fought against Holland, England, twice against Denmark with quite succeses. Imagine it like if Ebuy sellers get mad at some country, so they go there and euromaidan its ass. Most impresive is that Hansa survived over 400 years.

Hanseatic merchants feed most of Europe, not only by Polish-Ukrainian-Russian grain, but also what was their biggest contribution to continent prosperity: salted herrings.

Yes, just fish, but hear me out. Medieval peasants can't hunt for meat, while domestic animals were too valuable to kill, so their only source of proteins was from fishes or eggs. Herrings were easy to caught in big quantity so even after shipping them from Norway they were cheap enough for everyone to buy during winter or harvest time.

You either shoot energy(usualy electrons) onto phosphorus layer which use this energy to emit visible white light, or use LEDs to emit color light. What is most interesting is that white LEDs use first method, as they shine UV light on phosphorus layer inside diode

LCDs are just colour pixelated filter on white light, VFDs image shaped electron catchers, CRTs straight up fired electrons on phosphorus screen while Plasma displays do it inside pixels using neon signs!
