After an eventful week and a half, it finally feels like Iβm on the mend a bit! Sunday 4th I had the great joy of being rushed to hospital by @justsarah439 for stomach pains that were much worse than anything Iβd ever experienced before with my #EhlersDanlosSyndrome. 12 hours later and several different doses of painkillers that werenβt working, the doctors decided that they needed to go into my stomach to see what was going on as there were three possibilities of what might be the cause of my pain. 1) appendicitis. 2) possible chrons disease as mentioned by my gastroenterologist . 3) my right ovary had twisted and mightβve been losing blood supply. I wasnβt 100% sure what I was going to be missing when I woke up from surgery but thankfully it was only my appendix. I cannot praise Southend Hospital enough for their help on that visit. I also got an awful lot of answers from my surgeon and assisting doctor in regards to several things Iβd been told by other departments. Itβs amazing how much doctors can properly help people and with diagnosisβ when they take the time to listen. π₯ [#southend #southendhospital #southendnhs #savesouthendnhs #hospital #medical #patient #operation #keyholesurgery #chronicillness] (at Southend Hospital) https://www.instagram.com/p/BqJEuDYFDCT/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=hqd6k2rxgmjg
