Hello! I’m a chemist! I might be able to help out!

It’s the way heat works in terms of free energy! If you’ve taken chem at all, think of it in terms of a chemical reaction.

The more heat added to a reaction = more entropy = more randomness and disorder. Heat makes molecules SHAKE and MOVE and wiggle around like little dancing creatures, which means they’re more likely to bounce off the walls.

The more random a system is = the more freedom those molecules have to rearrange in different and less predictable ways
