Chapter 1 - Who's that?

You were waiting outside the park, waiting for your beloved boyfriend, Scout. You texted him to come over half a hour ago, he was late, again. As you're waiting agaist the tree, checking your offline phone and kicking your boot back and forth, you finally look up and see a figure of a lanky, fit man... with your blurry eyesight you have to squint to get a good view of who might it be, and low and behold, it is indeed your boyfriend! hooray, he is finally here, except he seems to have changed up his look ?

He was wearing a red shirt and you always saw him wearing blue clothing, never red. even when he sees people wearing red clothing, he gets a little anxious. You never knew why.

"Look who finally decided to show up" You said sarcastically "what took you so long?"

(Red) Scout just stares at you, confused "Uh...Whoat?"

"Don't whoat me boston boy, I asked you to come over about a hour ago! you've left me in this freezing cold!" You hugged him.

Scout looks at you, for a few more seconds, still dumbfounded, before the dots finally connect. You must be Blu Scouts girlfriend! and you think he's Blu Scout! you must not know about his job, or him (Red Scout). at that moment, Scout internally gets a evil cartoony smirk, before giving you a cute little grin, hugging you back.

"Oh of course! So sorry, um, Ma held me back to...Dye her....hair?" Scout sighs at his stupid excuse.

"oh, I didn't know you could Dye hair! Did you do a good job?" You smile and tilt your head.

"'Course I did, I do good at everything." He gives a confident smirk, and you snicker at his cockiness.

"Since when were you so cocky? and clumsy... did you drink?" You tilt your head to the side in question.

"Only Bonk energy drinks. I have a lot of energy now, and I could use a girlfriend to take it out on..if you catch my drift.." He clicks his tongue and winks, and you snicker at his cockiness.

"you look so stupid." you say teasingly, with no malicious intent.

"Just for you, babe." Scout boops your nose, tightening his grip on your waist with his other arm. "waddoya say we get outta here, I could take you out on a steak dinner tonight."

"I hate steak!" you stick your tongue out in disgust.

"ah,, right" he grins sheepishly, and leads you to the nearest foodplace that's still open at this hour.

Scout leads you over to the "restaurant" (which was really just a tacobell), even pulling your chair back for you to sit down. He was trying so hard to impress you suddenly...pretty cute.

You guys ordered a meal and when the waiter brought you the tacos, he pulled you in close, just to whisper the stupidest idea in your ear.

"Alright Y/N, listen to me now. I know a way to get all this free food without paying ONE penny!" Scout muttered, grinning wide with his cute little buck teeth.

You roll your eyes, why can't he just pay? Shouldn't his extremely awesome job that he keeps avoiding the subject of do well? "What is it?"

Scout cups your cheek, and you loose yourself in his white-blue eyes for a moment, before you snap out of it due to the feeling of two hair strands getting pulled out by Scout.

"owch! What was that for??" You jump a little, and he shushes you, and sprinkles the two hairstrands in your tacos. "The hell?-"

"Now look, and learn." He gives you a lopsided smirk, and calls the waiter over. "What is your restaurant's major malfunction brother?! Whats up with this disGUSTING hair in our tacos?!? Do you want my girlfriend to get sick or sumthin??" He accuses, and you slap yourself over the forehead in disappointment and embarassment.

The waiter raises an eyebrow, pulling the hanging hairstrand close to his eyes, squinting a little to see the colour. "Right, mr. Both our waitresses are blonde (or whatever haircolour you dont have, idk)" Scout's face drops, and you both get chased out of the tacobell by the waiter

"I BETTER NOT SEE YOU FRAUDSTERS AGAIN OR YOU'RE GOING TO JAIL!!!!" The waiter yells as you both run, mainly scout, who you can't keep up with.

He's holding your wrist as he runs to the back of some building, stopping to catch his breath, while you're almost dead. He is the fastest guy in Teufort afterall. Maybe in all America! Or atleast that's what he thinks..

"Damn it Scout, you're so stupid! I didn't do anything and now im at risk of going to JAIL!" you scold him, while he's just snickering at his own stupid doing.

"Calm down, toots, it ain't gonna kill you." He keeps laughing.

You admit, that was pretty fun but you're a high standard girl ( though it doesn't seem like it). "I'm going there right now to clear my name!"

Scout stops you, grabbing your wrist "woah woah, what are you, crazy? Why are you so stuck-up? He ain't sending nobody to jail they're just overreacting"

"Don't call me crazy! I have a reputation to uphold, you know??" You snap at him.

Scout's face goes more serious "You're just gonna leave me looking like the bad guy? I didn't think you were that uptight," He lets go of your wrist and leans onto the building wall sadly. He doesn't know why hes getting this upset, afterall,, you're not even his girlfriend. In that moment, you feel pretty guilty about how you acted.

"I'm sorry..yeah, you're right. I don't know why I reacted like that." You scoot closer to him, and his eyes soften, and he pulls you closer with his arm over your shoulders, kissing your forehead
