our first ever fanime! also our first con in enstars cosplay and with the valkyrie nuis in tow. we went to the con to check out manga ichiba most of all because we love zines, but also had fun hanging out and hosting panels. shout out to the duo who chatted with me after the asexuality panel to confirm I was cosplaying Shu.

Wanted to wait until episode 6’s revamp to drop before answering this ask. But that took me 5 months lmao. Haru sort of answers it herself there, really, so I’ll just pull the quote from the episode.
“I just want to be with someone who loves me. H-he seems really nice and… he wants to protect me and make me happy!” … “I just don’t want to be alone.”
Haru hardly actually saw anything in him really, that’s sort of the point. In episode 7’s revamp I plan to actually show the date Sobuki and Haru go on, he intentionally shares incredibly little about himself. There was hardly anything to see. From that perspective he just looks like a bland basic-looking generic nice guy, and that would have actually been nice a nice change of pace for Haru if he was, because she’s dated psychopaths before him plenty of times. She wanted something simple, he looked simple.
