Iβm still reading Lost In The Cloud, but hereβs my understanding and thoughts on Cirrus and his eyes !!
the creator Paskim uses his eyes to portray how cirrus is feeling, the soft pinks and blues suggest his contentment, maybe even his happiness? For example, with Candy or Skylar his eyes are usually softer, less harsher colours. Maybe it symbolises his control in situations? He is at ease knowing things are going his way and that he is in control.
Whereas, when he breaks down or has trouble expressing himself his eyes turn to sharper and darker shades of these colours. I really like this detail because it really portrays that Cirrusβs emotions are spiralling by using his eyes. It tells us the intensity of his emotions !!
However, I could be completely wrong. I was told from TikTok that his eyes are actually inspired by watermelon flavoured ice cream bars !! So maybe Iβm reading too much into it ? I thought it was interesting how his eyes became more intense and sharper during his breakdowns to maybe present psychological shifts and changes in his demeanour !!
