This is my beautiful Taffeta Punk!
Taffeta is already almost 50lbs at six months old. Her mother, a husky and her father, a Great Dane/Anatolian Shepard mix. We expect a big ass doggo
She is smart and calculating. Stays by my side all day, even laying in the bathroom while I bathe.
She met her first mannequin tonight. It was barked at and growled at until I took the arm off of it and pet her with the arm. She nommed the arm and got excited as hell! Now she walks up and just mouth the hand of it as she walks by. But anything I pet/touch/other interaction with and show her “hey look it doesn’t hurt me! I’m smiling and laughing and saying good girl!” Simple cautious dog trick. Hugs usually work best to show dogs but a pat on the arm or hand and a little fake laugh together builds trust and confidence.
She recently destroyed her first irreplaceable thing.

She’s quick to learning tricks, sits politely in the bath tub just patiently waiting, not vocalizing, for her bath to be over and stays in the tub until you say ok go
It it takes about 15-30 min of just doing different tricks while throwing in the new truck every so often. Can’t do the next trick until you successfully do this new trick. Then reward. Then easy reward cause trick easy! Enforces and rewards a lot of good behavior.
