I’m Trying

I’m trying so hard.

I do realize I’m out of line, but I only react to my environment.

Why get blamed for things I didn’t do? I learned you might as well be blamed for stuff I did do.

It took alcohol for one of two parents to listen.

They other fails to still see. She still says I don’t understand.

Maybe I don’t. Who knows?

I’m still trying.

But I’m getting tired.

Maybe it’s better not to try and understand.

I don’t want to try and fall anymore.

Call me a coward. But I’m not going to fight for a lost cause.

I’ll just be back to dark thoughts and depression again.

AND I refuse to fall back into that.

1. Party Drunk:

will talk to anyone and everyone

only does shots

has to literally be dragged home at the end of the night because they refuse to acknowledge that the party has ended and they’re the only person still there

2. Blissful Drunk

does nothing but laugh

not great at parties
