Miriam Muñoz is a 29 year old Spanish illustrator, cartoonist and established graphic designer.
Miriam has worked with Crush Design in the UK and is most known for her surreal and wacky posters for Sala Siroco. She’s also the co-director of online magazine Una Beuna Barba.
"I’ve always liked to doodle, but I started taking it seriously when I studied graphic design, at the age of 21. When I was studying I decided I wanted to apply my design knowledge to the illustration field so I could approach projects my own way."
Her favorite artists include Lisa Hanawalt, Julia Wertz, Ana Galvañ, Susanna Martin, and. Hannah K. Lee.

China: Through the Looking Glass ExhibitImages: @metmuseumMay can’t come soon enough — not after seeing the images of Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute upcoming Spring Exhibition … On tap will be more than 130 pieces of ready-to-wear and couture. The clothing will be shown alongside other Chinese works of art and film, like a strapless fishtail gown, which boasts a similarly ornate design as a painted dragon vase. China: Through the Looking Glass will run from May 7 to August 16.
This exhibition, organized by The Costume Institute in collaboration with the Department of Asian Art, will explore how China has fueled the fashionable imagination for centuries, resulting in highly creative distortions of cultural realities and mythologies. High fashion will be juxtaposed with Chinese costumes, paintings, porcelains, and other art, as well as films, to reveal enchanting reflections of Chinese imagery.
