I can’t believe I’m posting this but, here goes;
If you’re on Grindr, Scruff, Recon, etc and you identify as a Dom, Switch, or submissive and you approach a Dom, Switch, or submissive (to Dom or serve them) and they tell you they are not interested in you.
YOU don’t get to tell them they are not a true Dom, Switch, or submissive. That is not how the BDSM culture works. Period.
I’ve alway identified as a submissive. The past few years, while serving my Dom, I’ve become more ‘Switch’ and have grown as a person in this regard.
As I’ve traversed the Seattle BDSM scene, I often missed out on serving friends or people I became fond of, because I didn’t want it to change the friendship. But, again, the past few years I’ve learned to adapt, and enjoy the moment for what it is.
But back to the reason for this post; Please set aside your egos, whether you’re a Dom, Switch, or submissive (a sub should alway keep theirs in check). And take a ‘no thank you’ with dignity and grace.
