A pair of Dr Who canvas I made :D

The first photo shows a piece of painted slate and ever since I can remember it has been on display without fail.

It was given to my Mum and Dad by my Grandma who sadly passed away before I was born so I never got to meet her. It's around 30 years old and has been become the tradition of our Christmas. 

As a present for this year to my Mum and Dad I recreated the slate with a reverse glass painted version with 24k gold and silver leaf. It was hand painted by me and I also made a little timelapse video of me making it which can be found below.

This is a refurbished book of Howl's Moving Castle written by Diana Wynne Jones. The story behind this was that my cousin knew I loved the film of Howl's Moving Castle and his school library was getting rid of the book and selling them for little to no money and so this book was 20p. The version I have was the mass market UK edition and was published in 1992, which is the year I was born. Because of this I was slightly attached to it after reading it.

I finally got around to putting this project back together again :D
