Last night I had a dream that my city's metropolitan art museum had an anomalous interior that led to different rooms every time. I discovered the effect when I went to cater an event there for work, and at the end of the event I was separated from most everyone else in a small room with an angry pizza chef who threw his hot pizzas on the floor and made me pick them up.

I left the pizza guy and began picking through the museum. At first I thought I had made it outside into my local neighborhood, but then a figure I thought was Doro from the Patternist books began stalking me from a distance. I kept running, looking over my shoulder the whole way, trying to lose him. I ended up running through a church group and hiding among their numbers, pretending to be a chaperone for the girls. Everyone started to get on a bus, and I got on two, but I left before the bus could leave. I kept moving. My pursuer was no longer there but I needed to escape nonetheless.

The first part I remember was a part where I was in high school and I was invited to this big event with lots of people. My dad invited me up to the stage and began telling the crowd how proud he was of me, but in the middle of it all feathers began to painfully bristle through my skin on my fingers and eyes, and the process didn't stop. There was a crow man in the audience and everyone immediately put together that I was actually the crow man's lovechild, throwing the event into an uproar. The event was ended prematurely so my dad wouldn't be able to see me and put two and two together.

I was sent back to my class where my Spanish teacher (the sandwich guy from work) was introducing us to a Garfield-themed textbook. What he didn't seem to notice was that I was still actively metamorposing into a crow boy, and that the other students wouldn't leave me alone. Then, one by one, the other students got up and left to go to another event. I ended up staying because I didn't want to be seen in public, covered in feathers. The transformation was becoming more painful now and extending to my bone structure, with my jaws reworking into a beak. The teacher seemed to realize this and let me stay.

Then, as he started a new lesson, I started seeing something at the edge of my vision. It was a tiny training dummy from the Garfield textbook. Everywhere I would look, there it was, trying to get closer to me. I was terrified it would attack me and tried to tell the professor, but it didn't make any sense. At one point it got close enough to touch, but when I grabbed it to make it stop it collapsed into a pile of macaroni noodles shaped like Chinese characters. I hastily tried to hide the dry noodles in my lunchbox, and in there they became soupy.

I rushed out of the room and into the staircase outside, where the dummy, now human sized, was waiting for me. I found myself walking through a park, trying to get away from the Dummy while the spanish teacher was still there, unaware. It taunted me, and I tried to rush past it, but I clipped it, and it sent the dummy reeling away. I quickly realized that by touching the dummy, I could defeat it or make peace with it, and so it soon turned into a version of the Badeline fight from Celeste with me chasing and it desperately trying to fend me off. I was able to hook a wing into the collar of its shirt, leading to it dragging me around as it tried to get me off. It was a whirlwind. It led me up the stairs into a huge room where it began dropping gift boxes to distract me, but I flew from box to box destroying them until shooting towards the dummy. I went flying away and the dummy disappeared from the dream.

I came to disoriented. I was no longer in the school and my feathers had receded. I wandered through dark rooms full of people I knew until I found someone I knew and loved. He was watching Star Trek: the Next Generation on his knee and invited me to watch, so I got up close and watched for a bit. He offered me an outfit and when I changed into it it was a little green dress. I went back to watch the show again and when I got there my friend Mel had joined us, emerging from the bottom shelf of a dresser. She jokingly warned me to watch out for the creature attacking her, and when I looked the creature was my dog, running up to her to lick her and play with her. For a beautiful moment I really thought she was back until I remembered she was just a memory. She ran off and sank into the floorboards, struggling on the way down, before running back and being joined by two more memories of her.

Had a dream that a comet named Pac-Man was headed for the Earth. All the old folks were afraid it would hit the Earth and cause the end of the world. I figured it was fear-mongering but I was concerned that it would knock all the communications satellites out of orbit and destroy the internet.

Had a dream that I met one of my mutuals and they were HOT!! They did skateboard tricks and we explored the caves of Brinstar together

Had a dream that I was at my house, on break from work, and decided to try to go to a gym/sauna. I walked to there from the other side of town and got into the public shower to clean myself up before the rest of my shift. Unfortunately, when I got out of the shower, I realized I hadn't brought a towel or a change of clothes. I hurriedly asked for the sauna's phone, since I didn't have mine on me, and called up one of my coworkers to ask if he had a towel or clothes I could borrow. He didn't, but he did agree to drive me home so I could change.

He dropped me off at home, and I quickly changed, knowing that I would likely be late for my shift. Suddenly, my dad appeared, and he wanted to know why I had a phone that wasn't mine. I realized that I had accidentally brought the sauna's phone back with me, and I told him that I had used it to call my coworker for a ride. He was satisfied, but suddenly my OTHER coworker appeared, and they scolded me for taking the phone from the sauna. I promised them I would return it immediately, and asked how they had shown up so quickly. They told me they had taken a dangerous shortcut through the extradimensional Backrooms.

My dad started to get suspicious about the phone not being mine, so to avoid having to explain myself, I suggested that we use the Backrooms to get back quickly, and my coworker agreed. The shortcut opened up where the door to my room was and took us into a flooded poolrooms area that matched the aesthetic of the sauna. Despite the twisting halls, we were lucky enough to find the exit back to the sauna, but right as the exit was in sight, my coworker saw an old woman who appeared to be lost. They approached her and directed her toward me. It felt like nothing could go wrong: they had her hand, and I had my eyes on both of them and the exit. But they passed by a locker and disappeared.

I dashed back and forth, trying to catch sight of them again. I glimpsed the old woman between the lockers, blipping in and out of sight, but I never did see my coworker. Fearing the worst, I made for the exit before I lost myself too. I booked it back into the real sauna. As I was about to close the door to the Backrooms, another old woman appeared in the door, asking for my help. She looked like the old woman my coworker had found, but she had no eyes. I tried to reach for her, but my hands passed through her.

Last night I had a dream about an interstellar war between humanity and a species called the Testamentites. The Testamentites were tall, crimson-colored birdlike humanoids with heads that tapered into their beaks. The Testamentites had declared war on Earth and began to exterminate humanity as ruthlessly as possible, making the war into a genocidal game. Humanity, in turn, began posting bounties and awarding bonuses for every Testamentite killed.

I woke up in the aftermath of huge a battle. The battle was, apparently, a huge (and rare) victory for humanity, but even humanity's victories resulted in huge numbers of dead humans. In the chaos of both armies' retreat, I was caught up in a hotel full of humans and Testamentites, and the remaining Testamentites, separated from their units, were busy hunting down and slaughtering any human they could find, and even other Testamentites if they were competition for a kill. The human irregulars who still had weapons were fighting back, but any human they found who wouldn't fight was executed. I was caught in the middle, being mistaken for both a human and a testamentite. The battle was over, but what came after was a bloodbath.

Despite everything, I was able to find a group of human refugees who had banded together to try and escape the building alive instead of staying. A few testamentite defectors (myself included?) had even joined up to try and get safe passage off-world. I was separated from them multiple times, but at a crucial moment in the middle of a fight, an elevator door opened, and I booked it, and in the process reunited with the refugee group, who had been waiting to pounce on the opening. For a tense moment, with the elevator so full of people, humans and testamentites, I braced myself for the worst. I was sure everyone in the elevator was going to try and claw out the eyes of the person next to them. But the moment never came.

We managed to escape and evacuate off-world, to an enclave of human survivors. It gave the vibe of a space ship or space station, rather than Earth.
