This kind of amethyst is unique for this one locality. Unfortunately the locality is closed, the mayor of the village prohibited field collecting there and so no new material can be expected. The specimen is from the last official field collecting at the area. It consists - typically - of spheres of tiny crystals. These micro crystals are all sharp and lustrous. The specimen shows a very good colour for the locality and the dimension is remarkable. When collectors extract specimen from the rock, they most times broke into smaller pieces and so a specimen in this size is already exceptional. In excellent condition damage-wise, backside was extracted from the rock.
