As promised, here is a close up video of the gold background on the rose piece. The gold paint used was #josonja while the rest of the piece was #gouachepaints by #winsorandnewton - loving the vibrant effect. It took a couple of coats with the gold paint but it was definitely worth it. One of my favourite things is anthropomorphism. I think it is so cute to see animals dressed up in clothing (as much as my cat would disagree). I've always thought it was adorable, so I made this little fox into a scout with gouache. Time to celebrate a little milestone for my instagram profile - we have reached 1,000 lovely followers! As a special post I decided to try my hand at a little animation with #aftereffects and boy was I surprised with the amount of work that goes into these type of things - but oh so satisfying. I'm so glad I have been seeing more of the #drawthisinyourstyle posts on Instagram again as I genuinely love doing these. With the end of the year coming up on us quick, its around this time of year that people begin to think about their new years resolution and the year to come.
