really, you didn't. you were just minding your own business when you heard a voice - low and familiar - talking to someone in an alleyway.

you peek around the corner, spotting him crouched down, one hand gently scratching eden's head. johan's face is red, like really red.

"i don't even know how to say it" he mutters. "it's stupid. she'll probably laugh"

eden tilts his head.

"she's nice" johan says quietly, almost to himself now. "too nice. and she always smells…like clean laundry"

you stifle a laugh.

he sits up straighter, avoiding eye contact with his own dog. "so...i think you're really cool. and smart. and...i like you. a lot"

you blink. is he...practicing a confession on eden?

johan coughs, the crimson still dusted on his cheeks. eden gives a low bark, and the brunette points at him accusingly. "you're not helping"

he sighs, stroking eden's fur. "this is hopeless. i can't say it to her if i can't even say it you"

"you really can't" you call out, dramatically stepping into view.

"what the-" johan splutters, the crimson spreading to his face. "how long have you been there?"

"long enough to hear that you're in looove" you taunt. "so who's the unlucky girl?"

he grits his teeth. "it's...it's no one. shut up"

"oh c'mon!" you pout. "it's not like i'll tell anyone"

he purses his lips, unrelenting. eden barks again. (traitorously, johan thinks)

you shake your head in feigned disappointment. "alright. but you just missed out on some exceptional girl advice"

you give eden a quick head rub before walking away. "i hope she says no!"

once you're gone, johan exhales, dragging a hand through his hair. "should've picked a different alley" he mutters.

he scratches behind eden's ears, eyes still fixed on where you stood a moment ago.

★ struggles to be vulnerable - goo always puts up a facade of some sorts. doesn't really open up much, and you don't force him to. there's times where he just lays on your chest while you stroke his hair.

★ very much a fashionista and will absolutely shake his head disapprovingly at your outfit.
