Alien Trash Goblin

So I was on TikTok and I’ve been getting like and upsurge of Once Upon A Time content. So I’m watching this video about all the horrible stuff Regina has done and out of everything I feel like her sexual assault of Graham goes untalked about.

Like I dunno maybe I’m wrong about their relationship? But she took his heart and forced him to be her slave so it’s not far off to say that she was also forcing him to sleep with her. This goes in for 28 years and when he even shows a modicum of interest in Emma she crushes his heart and kills him. Graham is never talked about again (in the show I mean).

Regina is one of my favorite characters in once upon a time because she’s genuinely so well written but I don’t really like how this was ignored. Like the show was somewhat family friendly (not fully I’m well aware) so there could be justification in that for why they didn’t go too much into it but I don’t really like it. It feels like bad writing to me.

Okay so first that episode soooooo fucking crazy! I’m waiting for the edits of when Caine says “I am god” to transiting to it being AM from I have no mouth but I must scream. (The parallels were going crazy in this episode btw)

Like I don’t even have the proper words for it right now.

Anyways I kinda just came on here to rant about the tiktoks I’ve been seeing and it’s so many people feeling bad for Caine because he died.

“Oh those were his last words by the way 😢”

Like yeah Caine was just trying to fulfill his purpose and didn’t ask to be created. Neither did anyone else!

I’m not going to feel bad for Caine when he was torturing everyone for days!

While reading through the first light novel I noticed that in her inner monologue Urano is kind of an asshole. I mean this very sparingly and of course the things she feels are quite natural for someone who had all our modern conveniences and ended up in those kinds of living conditions.

I more so mean that through reading the light novel I noticed that Urano is actually pretty selfish. Most of the improvements she makes to her families life (shampoo, cleaning the house, etc.) isn’t really because she wants to be helpful but for her own satisfaction.

And I know you’re probably thinking. “Alien why the fuck does this matter?”

And it’s that selfishness that I think landed her in her predicament in the first place. It’s pretty safe to say that in her past life Urano took a lot of things for granted, but mainly her family and I guess Shuu as well.

I’m trying to repair my love for reading and my attention span and I’ve decided that as a start I’m going to resume my reading of the AOAB light novels as I’m pretty sure I have all of them in my library. A bit part of keeping myself motivated to interact with a piece of media is interaction so I was wondering if anyone would be interested in community discussions of the light novel as I read through it.

I started where the anime left off the last time I was reading it and got to part 3 volume three but based on the reblogs and comments has opened my eyes to the fact that was a mistake because I’m missing proper context.

UGGGGHHHHH I don't even know how to formulate my words on how much I love the show! it re-ignited my desire to read the light novels.

I wish Lutz had been adopted by Benno. I'm glad that lutz works out his relationship with his family but honestly I felt like lutz leaving his family who haven't supported him since the beginning, talk the biggest shit about merchants and didn't even know where he worked maybe aren't the best people.

They didn't know anything about him as a person and didn't really make any effort to. I feel like a storyline where he did end up as Benno's adoptive son could've been so interesting especially if they played off of the differences between Main's loving family who support her no matter what and Lutz' family who are unsupportive (at least more than the show did)
