The finished product, sort of. I realised how short I made Steels arms, but I can't be bothered changing them as Concept expects me to pay to edit literally anything on the program.
I might fix it (I defiantly will it's frustrating me) and edit this post with the better version

that one fucking scene in nimona... what do you mean she tried to kill herself in her rawest "monster" form in center of the city by impaling her heart on the sword of the statue of her first friend, the one that first betrayed her like that and made her feel like a monster, and then she got stopped by her other friend, the one that made her feel like a monster again but realized he fucked up, apologized and touched her heart with the replacement of an arm that got chopped off by none other than his loved one, while also standing on the said sword of the statue. the layeeeers. that's literally fucking cinema
sterek in which stiles takes âdonât call me dudeâ a lot more seriously but also a lot sillier
s: dude! guess what I found-
d: donât call me dude
s: *rolls eyes* fine, honey bunch, guess what I found out about the creature weâre tracking
and
s: du-
d: donât call me dude
s: *deep sigh through nose* okay then, sweetheart, can you believe roscoe stalled out again?
until heâs just calling derek by sweet little pet names and neither of them realize it until someone (probably scott idk) is like ââŚ.so when did you guys get together?â and theyâre both turning bright red on the realization that they didnât hate the pet names or the fact that someone mistook them for a couple

Fun how the bystander effect was coined to cover up how cops are bigoted cowards who let a queer person die and stockholm syndrome was coined to cover that the cops handled a hostage situation so badly the hostages trusted their captors more than the cops.
how are you gonna be 31 and posting fandom content bro leave it to the teenagers
People 10 and 20 years older than me are writing your favorite fanfics, and drawing your favorite characters. You'd have no fandom without the people you think are 'too old' to have hobbies.
Who the heck do you think started modern day fandom with Star Trek? It sure wasn't teenagers.
Who do you think makes professional quality fanart and fanfic? People who've been practicing it for ten, fifteen, twenty years!
Or even people who've been practicing it for thirty, forty or fifty!!!!!
example: Diane Duane. Currently in her seventies. Star Trek fangirl since the original run. Goddess-level Ascended Fan who has created official tie-in works in more forms of media than pretty much anyone else alive, possibly even Rodenberry himself because they didn't have audiobooks or video games when he was with us. Writer of Spock's World, The Wounded Sky, Doctor's Orders in TOS. Co-writer of TNG script Where no one has gone before, and writer of the tie-in novel Dark Mirror among others. Writer of a half-dozen Star Trek Comics. She has adapted her own work for audio, has written for the Star Trek manga series, has written short Trek fiction for anthologies, and plotted and wrote the video game Star Trek: the Kobayashi Alternative.
In other fandoms, she was a personal friend of Terry Pratchett himself. As a scriptwriter, she's also worked in fandoms like Scooby-Doo, Transformers, My Little Pony, Gargoyles, Batman: The Animated Series, Spiderman: Unlimited (and a trilogy of tie-in novels still in print) and Barbie: Fairytopia. ...And that's just cherry-picking her imdb page.
While she can't give out specific details due to Obvious Reasons, she's still active in the Sherlock BBC fandom - and there's a specific subset of her fans who love guessing which of the legendary fanfics might be her work (I am not one of them, BTW, as it is None Of My Business. I'm old-school that way).
Fandom is not for teenagers. Fandom is for everyone of good heart and enthusiasm for a good (or even bad! No judgement!) story.
Just wait until you grow up, Anonymous OP. Wonder how long it'll take you to change your mind.
...Some days when you're feeling tired and sad, and wondering "what the hell is the point... why am I even bothering?"... it's nice to be reminded that you're supported.
This was on a post about how it's ignorant and privileged to wear headphones in public and I fear its already become a part of my vocabulary. Must everything harbor a moral failure.
this is one of the funniest things he has ever said. Iâm not going to touch his fundamental misunderstanding of what Communism is and how the ideology has not worked once over thousands of years âIâll give you everythingâ *takes it away from others who earned it* thing is his entire ideology, that is what his presidency is
Anti-abortion lawmakers in the GOP using the âthe killing of a child is always evil and never justifiableâ rhetoric against abortion when they kill children all the time by funding and vehemently defending Israelâs war crimes against Palestinian children and children in the Middle East as a whole. In America, they continue to kill our children by refusing to acknowledge gun safety issues, advocating for âparental rightsâ so parents can treat their children like property, pushing relaxation of childhood vaccine requirements and a myriad of other initiatives to undermine and destroy safety nets that protect the lives of children. They kill children everyday. They would do anything in their power to get their buddy out of prison if that person killed a kid, accidentally, maliciously, negligently. We know they hate abortion because they hate autonomy and want to punish women in any way possible but they will continue to act like ending a pregnancy is somehow worse than the blood they have on their hands.
Cops shot a 1 year old baby in the arms of his mother this month and youâre completely silent about that event but theyâre never quiet about the evils of abortion.

You really got triggered and over reacted when someone said they don't like Juneli, if you haven't done it already, why don't you just block everyone who says they don't like Juneli then.
What are you talking about again dude. You need to link what post youâre supposedly talking about. I donât care what you ship or donât. I care about people policing others.
Itâs quite literally my whole blog. Also Iâm a multi-shipper. My main ship is Mario x Eli I just donât post about it because thereâs like one episode on Mario.
I saw you reblog a post talking about not sexualising Eli (cause he's 15 ofc). And you said to just block the people doing it.
Wouldn't that just create an eco chamber for the people doing the bad stuff. Sexualising a minor character. Causing a bigger problem. Like to trying to fix a mold problem by putting paint over it.
Bro what? No I havenât made a post like that at all. You really need to find the correct blog your meant to be spamming
no one is entitled to the sacred art, tools, or costumes of another culture (save members of the culture itself) and nonsacred reproductions will serve just as well for the purposes of education and appreciation
having museums full of reproductions would be even cooler than having museums full of sacred artifacts because when modern craftspeople are able to replicate those artifacts, itâs usually because they still make the same items the same way today
this means that you could have description tags emphasizing that such-and-such item has been made by these people in almost the same way for hundreds of years
having museums full of beautiful reproductions takes the emphasis off of Things and places it on the People who make them, which is really as it should be
i'm gonna make this point ONE LAST TIME because i can't believe that instead of posting fun slugterra based content i get tangled in controversy and accusations instead
yk what i find crazy about juneli shippers' arguments?
it's that hamengku explicitly mentioned that junjie is AT LEAST 20+ years older than eli (who we all know is 15-16 in the show) meaning that no amount of deaging or speculation can justify shipping them.
i mention this to non slugterra moots and they all crash out over the idea that eli is shipped with someone who can legally adopt him. if people outside the fandom can understand that, why can't people IN the fandom?
you can't even say his body was petrified or frozen for a period of time. we saw the emperor, he looks 90 but is really 2,000+ years old because of the effect of dark energy. the same with junjie, he looks ridiculously young but it doesn't change the fact that he's older
i'm sick of seeing people left and right argue with this shit just accept the fact that your "ship" is straight up pedophilia. even if you google junjie's age i promise you you're not getting an answer below 30
Youâre good, Iâm mad people are slinging around accusations of pedophilia over this. Nobody who ships Juneli is doing it cause they believe Junjie is an adult and it feels just straight up malicious seeing innocent people get hit with that for no reason. From their PoV theyâre shipping teen x teen, and when youâre minding your business under that assumption, it is WILD to have someone come out of nowhere, kick your little fanwork sandcastle down, and accuse you of pedophilia.
The fact itâs gotten to a point where lurkers and newcomers have to make posts asking about it is just sad man. Have your fan theories, but stop ruining this for others :(

Bro this is Smii7y! He mentions a lot that heâs probably to dumb (heâs not) to do complex stories (i think the photography game on Smii7y plays was an example) but honestly when he misses stuff itâs because heâs talking to us, the viewer. When heâs narrating (bro should be a voice actor itâs peak) he almost always picks up clues. But there are time he just forgets and doesnât remember in the moment
I keep thinking about that scene in âSecret Identity Crisisâ where Max couldâve been outed for sure if Dredd had just siphoned from him on that bus. Like, thereâs no coming back from that, holo bots or not. Itâs wraps for anyoneâs plausible deniability.
AU where Max Steelâs secret identity doesnât last a week. And all the many, many consequences that entails.
i love that the only reason max isnt outed in canon is bc dredd is absolutely confident who he is the moment he lays eyes on him. heâs 100% correct but damn. good thing he looks just like his dad (well bad thing really since thats why dredd made the connection instead of like. deciding to hold the bus hostage to lure max steel out.)
(also i love using the end of that ep as one of the things syd cites when sheâs like âyea i figured out your secret identity via logicâ. specifically the whole âmax steel will go out of his way to save everyoneâŚ. except max mcgrath, who had to climb his way back up after being flung off a bridge.â)
I have an idea and all it cost me was taking ten thousand screenshots of the kids on that bus to get an accurate head count.
Who all move around a lot between shots, by the way. Like, a lot.
We have Butch and Sydney, plus Kirby whoâs never in any shots heâs not the focus of. As well as nine Npc students (eleven if we count the two who donât appear more than once, but Iâm not gonna) and the bus driver who fainted when Dredd arrived that we never see regain consciousness.
But weâll get back to them.
â
âYes, you do look like your father. Aw, little Max McGrath. Or should I say, Max Steel!â
And then Dredd picks Max up and siphons from him right there on the bus rather than backhanding him out of the window. Powers up on the spot. Evil laughter. All that good stuff.
Max struggles, obviously, and Steel comes out of his backpack to shoot Dredd in the face so he lets go of Max. Because heâs powered up, Dreddâs blinded attempt to strike Steel still sends him and Max out of the window.
Max Steel rises in Turbo Flight mode and the fight resumes mostly as normal. Dredd flexes his upgraded battlesuit, Syd tries to help, boulders get thrown, Kirby hits Dredd with a bus, NTek arrives.
âItâs over, Dredd.â
âItâs not over! Donât you realize? Now I know who you are, Max McGrath.â
There is no hologram gaslighting attempt. NTek shows up guns blazing and surrounds Dredd on the cliffâs edge, only for Dredd to let go and escape.
Forge calls for a pair of jump-jets to get back in the air and give chase, but thereâs not much else they can do. The students on the bus start evacuating, finally, while these two have a conversation right there in the open. Because clearly theyâre past secrecy.
ââ
âI told you two to cut it out with the heroics!â Someone says. âNow look whatâs happened. Your identityâs been compromised!â
Sydney helps Butch up from where heâd been curled up cowering under the bus. She looks over to see Max Steel getting lectured by a man in damaged armor.
His little drone friend pulls away from his chest. Their big armored form collapses into just regular old Max McGrath. Knowing it was one thing, but seeing it is so incredible. At least, it would be if he didnât look so crushed.
âUncle Ferrusââ Max, their Max, starts to say.
âNames, Max! Mother of Mars, is this how careless youâve been all this time?â Ferrus shakes his head. âWe shouldâve pulled you out of that school the moment you two were linked. Better late than never, I suppose.â
âYou canât say that!â Max puts a hand over his chest. âI know I messed up, but we can do better! Please, just give us another chance.â
âThere are no second chances, Max. That catâs already out of the bag.â Ferrus says firmly. âEven if we pull off a successful cover up here, thereâs no guarantee Dredd wonât run his mouth. Itâs better to cut our losses and pull you from the public eye before this gets any worse.â
The little drone breaks in between them, furious. âSo thatâs it, huh? Max Steelâs just gonna turn tail and run?â
Is he the Steel in Max Steel then?
Ferrus meets Steelâs eye with a glare. âWould you rather put countless civilian lives in danger?â
âNo, CommanderâŚâ Max hangs his head, voice low. âI understand. Iâm sorry I didnât get it sooner.â
âItâll be alright, Max. Weâll sort this out.â Ferrus pats him on the shoulder. âYou can still run missions with us from time to time. This is just the last anyone will see of Maxwell McGrath.â
What?
No.
âNo!â Sydney shouts. âNo, thatâs not fair!â
It really isnât.
So Max saves their lives over and over again and he gets punished for it? Has to go live in some super secret government bunker or whatever and pull out of school? Doesnât get to talk to his friends again? Maybe wonât talk to anyone as Max McGrath ever again?
Sydney wonât stand for it. If Max wonât stand up for his right to exist as himself, she will!
âYoung lady, this doesnât concern you.â Ferrus says when Sydney breaks away from the pack to march up to him.
âOh it totally concerns me. Because it sounds like youâre going to make my best friend disappear!â She starts loud and stays loud.
âWhat?â Kirby calls from over by the bus. âThatâs so not cool, man!â
The other kids seem to agree. Even Butch has pulled himself together enough to look angry.
âYou donât understand. This is for your safetyââ
âOh, really? How are we any safer without Max around?â Sydney gestures dramatically with both hands to the bus. âThat bad guy tore up the bus trying to look for Max today! Do you have any idea what he could do to us, to our whole school, if he goes looking for Max there and doesnât find him?â
Because sheâd seen it firsthand today. Max is a hero through and through. Any time that Dredd guy hurt her or tried to get at their classmates, Max Steel got real upset. Like, started throwing rocks at him kind of upset.
Thereâs no world where people causing trouble at their school doesnât draw him out. Hell, Max looks torn up by the idea of it right now!
And this guy must notice that, because he grimaces.
âWeâll post up some of our personnel at your school until Dredd gets the message. Once he knows he wonât find what heâs looking for there, heâll move on.â Ferrus says. But they all know itâs a terrible solution.
âAnd what about our homes? Are you gonna have a guy with a gun follow each and every one of us everywhere we go? Iâm sure that will be great for secrecy.â
âSydney, what are you doing?â Max asks. But sheâs not done.
âNo, the best thing to do would be to have Max stay right where he is and bring the back up to him.â Sydney crosses her arms. âBut not your guys, theyâd stand out too much.â
âYou canât be serious.â Steel says flatly.
She is so serious.
âYou should train us in secret to back Max Steel up.â Sydney makes eye contact with Ferrus. âItâd make it so weâre not easy hostages. And weâre not all in the same class, so we can cover more ground. We might have things handled before Max Steel even arrives on the scene if we get good enough.â
âThatâs ludicrous!â Ferrus dismisses. He turns to Max, whoâs been looking at her with something like awe on his face. âTell your friend how dangerous this is. You canât really want her to get involved in this, can you?â
âIf Iâm being honest, Commander?â Max smiles wide. âWeâre not gonna be able to stop her if sheâs made her mind up. You might as well just give her a gun.â
âYou kids have no sense.â Ferrus shakes his head. âIâm not just going to agree to this on the spot. If youâre serious about joining the fight, youâre going to have to be willing to put in the work.â
âIâm ready!â Sydney declares. Her resolve is clear, but the group lingering by the bus has more mixed opinions.
âMe too!â âI donât know if-â âAre you kidding?â âI meanâŚâ âIf Iâm gonna be in danger anyway thenâŚâ
Kirby, at least, jogs up with enthusiasm. He gives them all an almost-passable salute. âCount me in, coach!â
âI canât believe what Iâm hearing. Fine!â He turns to one of the agents who has a cool gauntlet thing on. âGo around and get me names. I wanna know who weâre sending home with an NDA and who weâre putting through the meat grinder.â
âRight away, Chief!â And off he goes.
âSyd, Kirb, Iâm grateful for what youâre trying to do and all, but are you sure about this?â Max asks them after his uncle walks off to go handle the people who want out. Sydney thinks she can see Butch among them. Typical. âI know you saw us get tossed around back there. This stuff gets seriously dangerous.â
âWeâre not trying to be the next you, Max.â Sydney punches him playfully in the shoulder, a little less surprised by how little give there is now that she knows heâs a superhero. âYou two can handle the big stuff. I just want to help out however I can. It feels right.â
âOh, do you think theyâll give us swords? Or nunchucks?â Kirby bounces on his heels a little. âMax, you gotta tell us what the trainingâs like! Donât keep us in suspense, dude.â
Some of their classmates that presumably signed on for this too draw closer. A sophomore steps forward. âItâd be nice to know what we just signed ourselves up for.â
Max brings a hand to the back of his neck and laughs a little. âWell, the stuff they put us through isnât exactly standard.â
âOh, does this mean I get to introduce myself? Can I? Iâm gonna do it!â Steel spins in the air excitedly before zipping into the center of their little group. Some of her classmates startle back at the sudden approach. âHello there! My name is NâBaro Aksteel X377, but you can call me Steel. Iâm the brains and the brawn of our operation.â
Max rolls his eyes, amused. âWhat am I, the pretty face?â
Steel floats up and slams himself into Maxâs chest. Thereâs a bright light they have to shield their eyes from before a helmeted Max Steel stands before them. âNope! The good looks are all me.â
âOuch.â The helmet goes away and Max gestures to his chest. âYou see what I have to put up with?â
Then he flicks himself in the ear.
Max turns slightly off to the side and starts bickering with thin air, though the Steel-shaped symbol on his chest lights up like itâs arguing back. A familiar sight that now has an explanation.
Sydney feels a tap on her shoulder. She turns to see one of her classmates trying to get her attention. âHey! It looks like theyâre going to be at it for a while. Do you wanna join us for a round of introductions?â
She looks at the group thatâs remained. Besides her and Kirby people in a loose circle. Sheâs pleasantly surprised so many of her classmates are willing to help fight the good fight.
Sydney smiles. âIâd love to.â
This school yearâs going to be a lot more interesting.
ââââ
Surprise!!! Max and Steel protection squad!!! Classmate edition.
For the record, Forge is absolutely gonna put these kids through hell. He only agreed to begin with because he thinks theyâll drop out on their own the moment the going really gets tough. Heâs in for a surprise.
As Syd said, theyâre not gonna be helping Max Steel with his usual supervillains or stopping regular crimes with him unless they genuinely just happen to be there. Their main job is to help fend off any attacks that happen when Max and Steel have got their guard down or to play alibi to help keep his identity as under wraps as possible.
So, for example, that museum field trip where the Ultralinks possessed those Halloween decorations would be exactly up their alley.
âHasnât Dredd shared Maxâs identity with other villains by now?â Fuck no! Heâs keeping that close to his chest and using it in his own plans, but the Ultralinks can figure it out themselves. He wants Maxâs Turbo energy all to himself, after all. Him not being a real team player is ironically carrying.
The core of this AU is just me giving these six kids names and guns. Bonus points if they get less generic-seeming design-wise as we go on.
Behold!! The Group Project AU.
Because getting Max and Steel out of trouble truly is a group project.
if he had waited like five minutes to lecture max and steel (or done it on the jet instead) he would not have ended up with a stubborn group of teenagers to deal with. truly a fumble of epic proportions.
would he even take them to a proper n-tek base for training or would he get them set up elsewhere? after all, while the sims in the base are really useful, letting them know where it is is extra intel he doesn't have to give them.
Forgeâs need to reprimand his nephew for putting himself in danger has just landed him with a massive headache. Karma is real.
Those kids are never going to see a proper NTek base if he can help it. Forge isnât taking them seriously and as such they get no clearance until the world is literally ending. Since thatâs not happening yet, a warehouse to do drills in will suffice.
Berto and Steel get to have fun making more covert weapons for these kids to carry after they have enough training to prove they can be trusted not to blow their own limbs off.
I donât have names for these kids but I do have roles I want to assign them:
Comms Specialist.
Someone who keeps in the know and updates everyone on whatâs happening.
Probably has a special âphoneâ thatâs tricked out. Keeps an earbud in (except when teachers are hardasses) and tabs through police scanners, the channel NTek set up for them so they donât get any higher clearance alerts, and a direct line they have to Steel. Is in charge of keeping their finger on the pulse whether thereâs action or not.
If somethingâs gotta be known? Theyâre who you tell.
Extractions/Evacuations Specialist.
We all know Max is a dogshit liar. This personâs main priority is getting Max out of the room in the least amount of time possible, whether thatâs physically causing a distraction or texting an excuse for Comms to pass on to him if theyâre not there.
If Max is already gone or actively leaving, their next priority is to corral civilians away from the line of fire. The last thing they want is people getting hurt or a potential hostage situation.
This person needs to know the area theyâre in inside and out so they can get people the fuck out. Whatever it takes.
Armorer/Gear Specialist.
Look, all of these kids are trying their best, but not everyone is going to be able to keep concealed-carry NTek stuff on them all the time. What Berto and Cytro do for Max Steel is what this person does for the Group Project on the whole.
Their locker and the trunk of their car are packed with gear. You need it? Theyâve got it. Donât even worry about it.
Your blasterâs been jamming during practice lately? Letâs take it apart and put it back together before making a big deal about it. Your not confident in your aim? Here are some melee options you can practice with next time we go to training. Your comm keeps falling out? Hereâs some tape thatâs safe to use on skin. Or just keep this spare. NTek already doesnât think weâre cut out for this, we canât go crying to them every time we scuff our boots.
Marksman/Firearms Specialist.
The one who can aim. Reliably. Everyone is getting trained on how to handle a firearm in case theyâre the only person around to shoot one. This is who you want to be holding one when shit hits the fan.
Doesnât matter if itâs someone with a knack for it that gets honed or if this person decided this was the role they wanted and they just worked their ass off for it.
Somebodyâs gotta have long range on lock. If itâs not Max Steel yet, this person will have to do.
Pyro/Detonations Specialist.
Nobody wants to give these kids bombs. Not one NTek affiliated person decided it would be a good idea to give teenagers explosives. For good reason.
But one (1) kid asked to learn some bomb defusal stuff âjust in caseâ and it snowballed from there. This kid didnât just learn about defusing bombs, this kid started making bombs. Not just regular explosives, but smoke bombs, flash bangs, and some other truly unpleasant things they collaborated with the Gear person to make.
We got a long road to Turbo Cannon and its convenient, controlled impacts. Gotta pave the way somehow!
The âNormalâ One.
Listen. They canât all go all in on this secret agent stuff or theyâre all going to get held back. Or grounded to high hell by their parents.
Someoneâs gotta wrangle their classmates into actual study groups so they donât flunk into the next life. Someone has to come up with alibis and work to get nine peopleâs stories lined up. Someone has to be the âresponsible oneâ so that adults wonât think they need more supervision. Teachers, parents, NTek, or otherwise.
Itâs not fun work, itâs not even cool work, but itâs necessary. And itâs gonna get done.
And then thereâs Sydney and Kirby who weâre familiar with already. Our all-around badass and our niche catch-all skill man. Enough said.
I still have to flesh out these kids as kids and individuals, but for the AUâs sake weâve got the roles we need filled lined up. The how and why of it will help build a basis for who they are, but Iâve also just gotta go through and start assigning them personality and background. Which will take ten thousand years.
