Ok so, Fire Island is one of the best adaptations of P&P. And I absolutely want to adapt it further for MDZS. Wangxian is obviously Noah and Will. But who are the rest of the cast? Please hear me out as I cast Howie with Jiang Cheng. JC is absolutely our reluctantly romantic king, who refuses to settle (i.e. put out) for less than what he wants. JC has high standards, ofc. The rest of the crew is Wen Qing as Erin, Wen Ning as Max, Nie Huaisang as Keegan, and Mo Xuanyu as Luke. You know as well as I do that MXY has Lydia energy.
Will is obviously LWJ, and I submit as Charlie, his brother LXC.
Dex, i.e. our Wickham, is Jin Guangyao, leading MX astray, and historically he broke the heart of LXC.
Cooper, who is obsessed with Will, can be none other than Su She.
In Fire Island, Charlie's ex shows up to make Howie think he doesn't stand a chance. I was originally thinking for LXC that could be NMJ, but we already have NHS in there, so hmmm?
