Hey y'all!!! I am stranded in south Houston in the storm flooding. My family and I flew down for my cousins wedding right before the storm hit. My family’s property is surrounded by high water in danger of flooding and we are not able to fly out. We are staying with friends and family but are stranded.

So!! I am running a sale on my online shop. Half of proceeds will be donated to LOCAL disaster relief and the rest will be to help my family with unexpected extended stay and emergency supplies.

The flooding is like nothing we have ever seen and we are heartbroken for those worse off than us. We are very lucky and privileged to be passing through and not losing our homes and livelihoods, and also very privileged to be safe and dry. But many many others are not so I will be donating half of proceeds to the local relief aid.

Some snapshots of my annual Anime Expo trip! I booked way too many shows this year and got really overwhelmed so sorry for the lack of posts!!

So I got a much needed haircut and had a couple good con outfits ft new glasses.

I impulsively purchased a couple big sets of copics so I got to play with them at the table. I got the Wonder Woman commission of my dreams. 😍😍

I had the pleasure of being invited as a featured artist to the Rora AX show! It was such a great time and their mascot is so cute!!

All in all I had a great time and am so grateful for the help of @matchapon at the table. I saw so many friends and it was a good con. :) thanks all!!

Yall do know that if you only hit someone up to talk about how sad you are & not much else, youre training that person to get sad whenever they see ur name in their notifications, right?

Its cool to have someone ya vent to, but the people you vent to are people too yanno? Hold a conversation with them. Remind them that theyre actually friends & not a bucket out only approach to dump your woes into. Things like that weigh on people.

@ Some of the people in the comments commenting saying this is a bad post and that theyre ok with people venting to them: this post isn’t saying that you should never vent to your friends I am completely 100% ok with friends venting to me. I vent to my friends. We do it all the time. Its how we deal. A lot of us are mentally ill and we help each other. But our friendships go beyond that. We vent to each OTHER. We talk about other things. We listen to each other. A friendship where one person is constantly venting to another and nothing more is not an equal friendship. That’s taking with zero give. For a lot of people, especially people who have their own struggles, its incredibly draining. Some people might feel that they are ok with this, but if you AREN’T ok with only being a shoulder to cry on and nothing more, there is nothing wrong with that. It is OK to take care of yourself. You do not have to put people who don’t do anything to help you or show you appreciation ahead of yourself. You are not a bad person if you want out of that situation. You matter just as much as the other person. Its ok to ask for space, and its ok to leave the relationship if its harming you. And do not make people feel bad for wanting more out of a relationship. Do not make people feel bad for not wanting to be someones therapist and nothing more.
