aang's main-canon universe will be broken up into three parts.

verse one: pre ~ during the events of the 2005 show (age 13-14)

verse two: during events of the comics ~ late adolescence (age 15-19)

verse three: early-adulthood ~ before/during/after events of the 2026 movie (age 20-30)

i will default to writing verse three or late verse two as i prefer to write adult muses, but am always open to entertaining verse one as flashbacks / alternative plots.

i haven't seen korra, not sure if/when i will. i'm open to interacting with korra muses, i'll just need some context. (fair warning that I'm a bit picky about continuity stuff so if I turn something down, I promise it's nothing personal.)

on ships: kataang is my otp and will usually default to canon, but there is no pressure for katara rpers to do the same! i'm happy to have them remain besties ♡ (in verses where he isn't dating katara, he will just see her platonically!) i'm also very open-minded to shipping and would love the chance to explore other pairings with aang.

regarding nsfw: it's not really a priority for me, but if it does come up it'll be thrown under a read-more and tagged as 'usft cw' or 'suggestive cw'. for obvious reasons, anything nsfw related will be kept strictly to verse three. (i don't know if i see myself writing full on smut, but i may post headcanons / rb art, and be open to discussing stuff in DMs.)

duplicates: i'm usually very duplicate friendly and love duplicate interactions, but i do need time to build up confidence in my own portrayal of a muse first. for that reason, i'll be avoiding following duplicates back for the time being as i am still dusting off the old headcanons.

i won't be putting up with any character hate / slander. this goes as a general thing for all the characters but especially in aang's case. people are free to dislike him as a character, but i don't really see any reason for us to interact if that's the case.

Gender: Unspokenly Genderflux / Genderfluid.

Pronouns: He/Him mostly, but sometimes She/Her or They/Them.

Sexuality: Pan.

Species: Human.

Race: Air nomad / Air Nation.

Morality: Chaotic good pacifist.

Appearance: Resembles the visage of someone Southeastern Asian / Tibetan. Fair skin & rounded features with dark eyes and a shaved head, has light blue arrow tattoos decorating his body. Muscular and lean, short as a kid — full grown he stands at 6’3’’.

Clothes: Typically wears orange, yellow and red colored robes that resemble the likeness of Tibetan & Buddhist monks with accenting wooden prayer beads, disks and tassels.

Personality: Fun-loving, joyful, and a bit of an air-head (no pun intended.) Aang is generally a kind and warm person who wishes to live his life care-free. He can be a bit of a recluse sometimes, getting easily fixated on things important to him.

Being the last of the air-nomads while simultaneously the current Avatar, he often finds himself caught in a bind between having to utilize his abilities to maintain balance over the other nations and being the only person that can keep the air bender values alive.

As a pacifist, Aang will always look for ways to settle conflicts peacefully and refuses to kill. He can be a little hot-headed and impulsive sometimes under certain circumstances, though generally maintains a level-mind in most situations. If pushed too far, he can come dangerously close to breaking his pacifistic oath.

Aang didn’t know his parents, his upbringing was very much it takes a village at the Southern Air Temple — though the closest thing to a father figure he had would be his mentor Monk Gyatso. As a young child he was inherently gifted at airbending, quickly surpassing other children his age in the art, being the youngest airbender to ever receive the ceremonial tattoos resembling his mastery over the element. He didn’t know he was the next avatar until it was brought to his attention by higher ranking monks, a premature revaluation forced into action by the threat of the Fire Nation on the horizon. At first, he didn’t know what to really think of it. But quickly he began to view this status as a bad thing, when the other airbender children stopped including him in games with the argument it wouldn’t be fair anymore. Saddened over this, Aang spent most of his final days solemnly training with his mentor, Monk Gyatso, who did his best to shield the child from the harsh reality being the next avatar would bring. With the rising Fire Nation threat, the elders condemned Gyatso for shielding Aang and ordered him to be separated from his mentor and sent to another temple to train where he would be kept in secrecy and free of any sentimental distractions. Having overheard this, Aang was frightened and confused, so he left a note for his mentor before leaving the Southern Air Temple on his bison Appa. Had he only stayed, he might of left with Gyatso at his side. This event would lead to Aang being caught in a treacherous storm in southern hemisphere waters, where he would nearly drown if not for his avatar state activating prematurely and sealing him and his bison away in the ice. For a hundred years, the avatar lay dormant while the rest of the world suffered at the hands of the hands of the Fire Nation, with the Air Nomads disappearing in an unspeakable complete genocide. He would awake in the arms of a water tribe girl, with her brother hovering over her shoulder. The three would go on to become world-renown heroes alongside some friends made along the way, ending the hundred year war and the Fire Nation’s oppressive regime and begin restoring balance to the four… three nations.

I'd say these results are fairly accurate. Aang isn't really the type to engage in sexual activity with others casually, he's too much of a romantic fkdjfbd. If he's single and someone managed to seduce him, I could see a hookup happening that way, but that's not really on his list of priorities. I'd also argue he's not so much full on submissive, rather he is more of a service top - he wants to make his partner feel good! 🤭 But if they're more dominating, then.. yeah. Regarding kinks, he's just clueless and doesn't know anything. I'd say he's willing to try anything once, but would not like anything that involves inflicting a lot of pain or stuff like degrading. If it's what his partner wants though, maybe there can be some negotiation there, but they'd have to really communicate about it first.
