Jellie: She is a cute, attention seeking cat during scar's videos and streams. She has been a character in Minecraft since 2018

Not to get toxic over a funny cat poll you're probs great outside of this but we're gonna let jellie win because:

1. She has a cat actually modelled after her in minecraft after winning an official poll years ago

2. She's actually widely beloved beyond a meme that's gonna get forgotten in a few months, unlike the nefarious anglerfish kitty. Nothing agaisnt them theyre adorable but are you going to remember the nefarious angerfish in a year. Are you.

3. Jellie just passed away a week ago after 17 and a half years of being a little queen. I'd consider the community literally putting her on trending for several days to be quite cat of the year behaviour

4. Goodtimeswithscar has been nothing but lovely and i'm sick and tired of all minecraft content creators being put in the Problemaic Box(tm) due to one guy that he's never even interacted with due to being part of a different group alltogether. Looking at the notes this website has some sort of mcyt derangement syndrome where they just hate everyone who has ever recorded themself playing the damn game despite no proof of them being an asshole. You just think it's cringe which is not the cat's fault 👍

Goodtimeswithscar is a minecraft youtuber on the hermitcraft smp, which has been running for over 11 years and just ended its 9th season. he is a wheelchair user with an undisclosed neuromuscular disorder, and a disability activist. over the years hes had to take many trips to the hospital. jellie has been a massive source of moral support for him the entire time, waiting for him every time he came home from the hospital. she was a very important part of his life, so much so that over the course of 2023 he built a theme park entirely in vanilla* survival minecraft, with jellie herself being the mascot, and it looks stunning!! this thing is so huge and has so much detail that cannot be fit in a single screenshot

Scar is beloved by many within the minecraft community, jellie even more so. And so, many fans came together to create an entire fanzine for based on his theme park project, which was released in december 2023. you can view it for yourself right here (its genuinely amazing!! kudos to the artists and the organisers for all their hard work)

shes a cat whos touched the lives of many, and will continue to do so for many years. i hope that, even if you havent heard of scar or jellie before, i will have at least convinced you to vote for her :>
