I was just wanting some ideas on what to include in a drawing that celebrates grians birthday (his birthday is in August and I was wanting to commemorate it by doing some art that has as many references to his hermitcraft seasons and the life series (mostly hermitcraft lol) and maybe some other stuff to celebrate how far he’s come as a creator and a person I have a lot of references to season six in it currently and I also have grain and duck (his blue axolotl) as well as mumbos mustache and a mycelium block (for the mycelium resistance from s7) but I’m stumped on what else (I want it to be filled to the brim) I’m also gonna add the mending book from s10 obviously lol)
What my brain wants to draw instead of my comic lol:

One of the reasons I’ve kept procrastinating even opening up my art for my comics is bc I have no idea how to work panels or how to lay them out and I dread it more than the shading/coloring lol… I’m also terrible at speech bubble placement

@onealonelynumber I’ve only just been looking thru your posts and I look up to your art so much already! I have a very cutesy art style similar to yours (yours is so much better and it tastes like marshmallows lol) and you have shown me that it’s not bad to have a cute art style and it’s given me a newfound love for my own art! (I always tried to work on my art style to make it less “cute” bc I plan on having dark stuff in my comics sometimes and I always grew jealous of others art style but now I feel more comfortable embracing my cutesy art bc of you lol)

I know I’ve been teasing a comic strip (it’s gonna be a two parter) but I’ve had this fun idea for a different, mostly unrelated comic strip and I didn’t want anyone to get confused so I wanted to let y’all know that if I post one here in a few weeks that it’s not the one I’ve been hyping up (and procrastinating lol) and it’s not really gonna be like it either (it’s still focused on Grian and it has mumbo in it as well which is why I wanted to post this bc it could be mistaken for the other but it’s more abt when Grian first joined hermitcraft (as in his first few weeks/months)) so…. Yea [this doesn’t mean I’ve completely given up and lost interest in the other but I can’t seem to hype myself up to open the file to work on it lol]
