We accidentally uncovered a… situation yesterday. Not long after dropping the terrified mother and the three clueless hoglets in a cardboard box in the freshest and safest corner of the garden, she was gone taking one of the little ones with her, but the other two were left there alone for hours, possibly abandoned. Following the local rescue center’s advice of just leaving them the hell alone and hoping their mom would come back was very difficult and left me worried sick all day. Thankfully this morning we saw that the mom had indeed come back for her hoglets and everyone’s fine! I hope to see these guys again in a few months’ time :)
