hate it when i make friends that actually want to be friends with me. like, okay, i understand that you like me, but please stop being this nice to me, please don't show me affection, because now i am disgusted by that, and i feel like a bad person because i am overwhelmed by the fact that you showed me affection and now i realize maybe i shouldn't have friends in the first place. oh by the way, i am autistic, but i don't think that has anything to do with it.

and i feel like i need to add this, it's not a self-hatred situation, i just really like being alone, and now these people make me feel bad about wanting to be alone, because society has conditioned me to feel like continuously rejecting invitations to participate in social gatherings is wrong and anti-social. i hate that. i really really enjoy being alone in my free-time, seriously, i don't want to have to give this up, no matter how much these people think they matter to me. screw social guilt.
