In all the places I’ve lived I’ve managed to get into the drinking fountain patches of very water fountain states

yeah what’s with those tiny patches. also what’s with “bubbler”

Bubbler is weird! I moved to the area of Wisconsin where they say that when I was 10 and people said I could get a drink from the bubbler and I never knew what they were talking about, or I'd ask where the water/drinking fountain was and they'd get very confused. It led to a lot of heated arguments all through middle school and high school about which one was correct haha :) Apparently, there used to be a water fountain brand called the "Bubbler" that was pretty common in that part of Wisconsin and also in Rhode Island, so both places still call them bubblers. It's weird but kind of fun and unique :) Although I still say water/drinking fountain haha.
