welcome to the pit

* i'm the creative director and head of marketing at my job and i'm always tired after work, but i want to make more time to write with friends again and that's my new goal.

* i moved into a house on an acre of property in between a city and rural tennessee with my long term partner ❤️

* i finally got a new car!!!!

tbh that's kind of it, but i feel like that's a lot. anyways, i plan to fully revamp everything this weekend and jump back in.

now how could i ever refuse an offer like that? it’s been far too long since we’ve torn up a town. i say its high time we make up for all that lost time. 

how long had it been? days? months? years? hell -- ha! -- if he knew.

he had been almost literally under a rock, which was a nice way to describe his abandoned convenience store dwelling. ceiling tiles had fallen to pieces onto the floor. fluorescent lights flickered and popped more than they turned on. everything was coated so heavily in dirt and dust that it was practically cemented on at this point -- yet, he loved it. it was home. 

but this home, her home, was his favorite. not because it had so much natural light and smelled clean, but because every bit of it had her essence in it. he could touch any nick nack and feel her very soul. he liked it. he needed it. he needed her.
