Since I'm closing out my BCG era (at least for now), I figured I'd share a bunch of my unfinished stuff.

Here are some character studies, a hint of a werewolf Cricket AU, and lots of silly Bill things. It's too bad I never got around to finishing the Bill x Doug stuff. They're cute together.

In 2004 there was talk about submitting some long form ideas to WB Home video. Throwing ideas around, a variety show format came up...

Or...one of our characters ('Late Nite with Senor Hasbeena') interviewing a combination of animated and live characters, with crazy stunts, and diversions.  A la Pee Wee's Playhouse..

Okay, so it's a bit Space Ghost Coast-to-Coast-ish, but I liked the idea of bringing Hasbeena to the fore, so I worked up a springboard premise based on this...

*Note: remember this is 2004. there was no youtube, Netflix was a dvd rental company, and streaming was something that needed a supply of water. Okay, let's proceed...

It all starts with a migratory swarm of cicadas from Hawaii which is blown off course and deposits into the town where our story is set. Meanwhile Senor Hasbeena has a late night community access TV show that no-one watches...except maybe Kid Upandcoming who regularly calls in to crank call Hasbeena.

Because of the late night chirping of the cicadas, no one can sleep. Suddenly, Hasbeena's viewership is soaring: Because everyone is awake, Hasbeena's show becomes the default program to watch. After years of lucha obscurity, Hasbeena suddenly finds himself back in the spotlight - maybe he has that one last golden chance to immortalize himself as one of the greats? But first he needs an epic match and an epic opponent...

So..I floated this by someone close to me (who up until this I had been in total sync with)...and they hated it!!! :D

Needless to say it didn't happen. While all this was going on we were still getting assurances season 4 was going to happen...well you know the rest, and that pretty much ended any discussion with Home Video.

Since for a long time I’ve wanted to see some of the characters to have some development, including the teachers (headmistress, hasbeena, midcarda, kurtz, custodio & fundador), and ever since the announcement about the teachers’ development arc i haven’t stopped thinking about it ever since, and I’m very happy about that :D

And I was wondering if the teachers will have a development arc (both in character and personality, since they are the school staff), or an arc that consists of diving deeper into them, for example, such as their interactions with other characters (such as the parents or students) and all that stuff.

All I can say is that they will be featured in the story. As I've mentioned, I have a beginning, middle and end. I know in my head where the characters will be featured, but until I start drawing and reach the stages where I want them involved, it's all just ideas. I don't actually write scripts for projects like this and prefer just to keep building on the original one-sentence-premise idea. I will say though, that they will be 'active' :)
